Mine actually ships with DHL. They didn't recognise the tracking number yet but that is normal.
Mine shipped with DHL as well. But it has been stuck in Eindhoven for the last four days.

My hold fell off a couple days ago as expected. Once your card is actually charged is when you know your order is about to move into "Preparing to Ship" or (in the rare case) straight to "Shipped"Weird--my authorization was placed contemporaneously with my order. In fact, the hold is still there.
It's not been stuck in Eindhoven. Your tracking number only works once the parcel is in Europe. For the last four days it will have been en route from China to Eindhoven.Mine shipped with DHL as well. But it has been stuck in Eindhoven for the last four days.
And my doorman.all you goldStar apple peeps with your nose pressed against the front door glass;
KEEP IN MIND LIKELY YOU WILL HAVE TO BE THERE IN PERSON TO SIGN OFF ON THE DELIVERY else it will go through a UPS / FedEx re-delivery cycle or two.
that is why you should have had it delivered to the brick & mortar apple store near you.
Keeping local American shopping malls great... again.
I got $1 pre authorization from Apple this morning!Hi Everyone! I'm new here and wanted to ask if anyone has received notification that their credit card has been charged or authorized. I placed my order on 10/27 and my card was never charged or authorized, however this morning I woke up to a text alert from American Express saying my card was authorized by Apple for the amount of $3,422.93. I checked with a co-worker who just ordered his this week, and no charge or authorization on his credit card. When I ordered my iPhone 7 it this same thing happened and then 2 days later it was shipped out.

Why were they awful? They should be happy that we're spending all that money on adapters!I finally received my... almost 200€ worth adaptors. Well, I picked them up at the Bordeaux Apple store this morning. They were awful as always. Please, if you ever go to France, don't buy anything at the Bordeaux's Apple store...
Wow interesting! Is your order still in processing?here's my configuration:
Configuration
- 2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
- 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
- Radeon Pro 460 with 4GB VRAM
- 1TB PCIe-based SSD
- Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
I'm located in Rhode Island. I had originally ordered a 512 SSD, and 2gb graphics card, and had the order updated this week. They did say to me that the order date or slot wouldn't change, but I received an email that my order was canceled and a new order was placed, and my slot was bumped from Nov to Dec. I called Apple and spoke to a manager and sent him a copy of my chat that shows the agent saying my order wouldn't be delayed or canceled, and he said he was going to see what he can do to get it bumped up to expedited production and shipping as well.
- Touch Bar and Touch ID
- Force Touch trackpad
- KYBD/USER'S GUIDE
- COUNTRY KIT

What's your delivery date?Yes my order still says in processing, but my card was just authorized for the full amount of the laptop.
Since your order was canceled and a new order placed, I'm gonna guess at this point this is just the initial authorization that most of us had when placing an order. I'm hoping I'm wrong since that would be good news for all of us, but the theory seems the most likely. If your order moves to "Preparing..." in the next couple days, then that would be great news. If not and the authorization falls off in a few days, then it's just the initial authorization when placing an order.Yes my order still says in processing, but my card was just authorized for the full amount of the laptop.
What's your delivery date?
My Apple care shipped today, about 3 weeks earlier than estimated. But that is just a paper booklet isn't it. I hope this means earlier than expected shipping for the MBP itself too. I ordered Nov 1st and shipping still says 4-5 weeks.
My delivery date on the site says between Dec 9 - Dec 15, but like I said I'm working with Apple to have the expedite the order due to them canceling the order and bumping out the date, when it was confirmed several times that my order wouldn't be bumped or canceled if I made a configuration change.

So isn't the authorization you're seeing just Apple going through the motions of applying a new order to your account (since your old one was cancelled)?
Well I placed my original order on 10/27 and never received any initial order authorization from Apple. The order was "modified" but canceled on their part and shouldn't have been. Also, the modified order was completed and updated on 11/2, so if it was that authorization I would have expected it to have happened two days ago.
[doublepost=1478271556][/doublepost]I was never authorized the full amount with my initial order, maybe it's because of the new order? IDK, it could be because their expediting the order due to them making the mistake.
