I can't stand the way Sims talks or play calls.
I didn't mind him, but I think its curious that they'd make Romo the #1 broadcaster without any experience. I think they could be setting him up to fail. Why not start him up slowly.

I wonder how Sims is taking this news, will he leave and go to Fox?

Yeah that is strange, I would think they would ease him into the spot. They have no idea how he is going to perform.

I'm sure there have been countless run-throughs, auditions and rehearsals... I don't think they would put someone on the air to millions of viewers just willy-nilly.
Oh no question. I'm sure CBS is going to give him a crash course, but again to move him to the #1 spot without prior experience is curious. I hope the best for him, and it works out.

Crash course... that is if he doesn't get a good playing offer... I'll believe he is in the booth when I see him in the booth. Plus a Romo is a recently retired, relatively popular player vs an older one that is, from what we've seen online here, a not too popular one... it's an easy choice IMHO.

I feel like Romo learned a lot from sitting on the side lines for the last two seasons, and he would give the "behind the scenes" look that many viewers want
