The one with other NFL players where he tells them they need to work on their "people skills" is hilarious.

I admit to finding that commercial hilarious, too.

That said, he was still a big baby about doing interviews, and behaved like a 3 year old because he didn't get his way. As @bigjnyc said earlier, if most people tried that with a part of their job they didn't like, they would be in the unemployment line pretty quick.

That line of thinking only applies to those with less than transcendent skills sets. If a team's back up players pull that kind of stunt, they'll be out of a job. But Beast Mode is one of the best RB's playing the game. With that level of talent, you get a long leash.

Lots of the best engineers buck the company's dress code without any repercussions. You don't fire your best engineer because he likes to work in Bermuda shorts and a t-shirt.

Ya all true but he did this stuff.

I have never denied he was a great running back, all I said he acted like a 3 year old when it came to giving interviews.
I am a seahawks fan so never cared about his interview games but I'm sure if he was on any of the other 31 teams I would have called him childish and other names too.
As a seahawks fan you have to put up with all that because he was the the 2nd biggest reason we reached the 2 superbowls(1st reason was our defense).

So Derek Carr opened his mouth and stuck his foot in.

PFT

Carr said at the start of the team’s offseason workout program that he expects Oakland fans to remain loyal to the team, and doesn’t think they were ever really fans if they don’t.

As I see it, I don't see how he can call out their disloyalty when the franchise themselve is not really being loyal by ditching Oakland.

If my home team said they'll be leaving, I'll not follow them any longer.

Agreed, Derek just said something really stupid. If the Broncos left Denver, I wouldn't be a fan of them any longer.

This would never happen but I wish the Raiders first game would be in front of a mostly empty stadium, to send a message to these greedy owners to stop the madness....

Well I guess the Aaron Hernandez saga comes to an end. What a tragic story all around for everyone involved.

Although I do find the timing very odd, He just beat the second case and his lawyer was going to start working on appealing the first case... I'm sure he was going to argue that he had no motive to kill Lloyd since he was acquitted of having committed the other crime... Oh well guess you could never accuse him of making sound decisions.

Agreed, the timing is very strange. I feel bad for his family. He had fame and fortune, but couldn't overcome his background.

As a life long Raiders fan, I would support them even if they moved to Kuala Lumpur. Fully support their move to LV cause they've been playing in a baseball stadium for the past 20+ years. The only bad guys in this is the Oakland CC that refused to give them a new stadium which they promised when they lured them away from LA.

Sad indeed.
I think what's sad is he killed people and left pain, and gaping wounds in other families because of those murders. I'm not happy he's dead, because even in that act of cowardice he left his daughter without a father. Now she not only has to deal with what her father did but also the fact the he took his own life.

He left her without a father as soon as he killed his first victim. No difference for her if he was in prison for life or dead.

No there's a big difference, while he cannot be involved in her life, he was available to communicate and visit. I'm not diminishing the aspect of being jailed as a parent, but at the very least he was there for phone calls and visitations.

Plus also consider the mental trauma inflicted on his daughter from the fact he took his own life and how that will mess her up.

She was one when everything happened. Don't think she remembers him as a dad. I hope that the mom find another man soon and the daughter sees him as the dad, she's still 4.

Not going to argue that. Sad all the way around.
