They weren't good last year.

They weren’t? They were one half of football away from going to the Super Bowl... had the coaches not decided to go conservative against the Pats and take their foot off the gas in the second half of the AFC championship game, they would have easily been in the SB. They had one of the most dominant defenses in our generation.... I agree that things have gone downhill fast, but to say they weren’t good last year is false.

Smoke and mirrors only work for so long. They knew Bortles wasn't QB1 material 3 years ago, yet they kept doubling down on him being one. Their OC, who fooled the NFL into think Bortles was serviceable, paid the price.

Agreed. The Jags were very good last year, but this year has been a real dumpster fire.

They weren't.

They barely beat a sh*t *ass Bills team.

Ok let’s just conveniently forget to mention that they then dropped 45 points on the Steelers in the next round and beat them at home where they are one of toughest teams to beat.

I never said they were consistent.

Missed the game last night but based on your way of thinking the Cowboys must be a lock for the SB...

Alright lets just agree to disagree. You think that a team who was 2 quarters away from going to the superbowl and dominated opponents defensively all season was horrible... and I think they were good last season.... different perspectives I guess

Wow, the Cowboys defense really shut down the Saints offense last night. Very surprising.

Its funny because earlier in the day I was telling me friend that the saints usually have one really bad road game every year and they were due lol..... But yeah very surprising that they were shut down to that extent, that offense was really humming.

Me being a Saints fan, was expecting this. We need a bad game to get us thinking clearly and not gain overconfidence. The last games really pumped the players with overconfidence and I was expecting this.

Am I mad? I'd be lying to say I'm not mad we lost. However, this is a humbling experience, one much needed now rather than later in the playoffs.

They did have a great year.

Paper Tiger imho, or "paper jaguar" if you will.

Bortles is showing his real self.

Pretty surprised by this.
That they did it mid-season, yes. I think he should have been let go a year or two ago, because he failed to deliver any more Lombardi trophies to the Green Bay area, with one of the greatest quarterbacks in history. Rodgers is on the wrong side of 30, and the window of time for him to keep playing at the high level that he's been playing at is quickly closing. I think the ownership should have had a bit more urgency given how they've faired these past few years.

Emmanuel Sanders tore his Achilles’ tendon in practice yesterday. This really hurts the Broncos already slim chances to make the playoffs.

Raiders fired GM Reggie McKenzie. If they let Gruden be Coach/GM like BB, the Raiders are gonna be cellar dwellers for years to come.

IMO, firing McKenzie is a huge mistake. He took over a Raiders with no draft picks, no talent on the roster and made them into a playoff team. He drafted Carr, Cooper and Mack. Two of whom got traded away and are helping their teams to a division title.
