Plus the Saints still had chances to win but didn't.
One can argue that, but that call was the reason why the OT happened. The chain of events that could happen from that call have been well established; furthermore, several news outlets agree at a 99% basis that a PI call would have given the Saints the win.

No doubt, if the PI or helmet to helmet hit was called the Saints would have won the game.

Sadly, neither penalty was called. It stinks for the Saints, but it ain’t the Rams fault.

Actually, I would be bold enough to say that it is. Why did the defensive player have to tackle using a Helmet-Helmet maneuver? Why was there a need for PI? Also that excessive blow. There was no need for either and yet the Rams did so. I'd say they are equally guilty on this one.

Yes, the refs can be argued took a larger share of the blame, but there is always two sides to this.

A bad call does not merit an asterisk... The Rams cannot help how the refs call the game. I feel terrible for the saints I really do, but its not like the Rams cheated to get there, they can't help how the game is called as much as the Saints can't...... Recording your opponents practice, now that merits an asterisk.

 Lol

Every year they announce everything that happened during NFL Honors before it airs. Why bother watch. Or why not just do the show live?

Frankly, there is no guarantee that the Saints would have scored either.

Although I bet they would have!. :(
True, but it also cost them a big gain and a chance to score earlier in the game, same missed call. The second one was worse because they didn't have to score to win. If they used more time, the Rams would have had a much more difficult time taking the lead. It looked like a lock for the Saints until the more infamous call.

I’ll have the game on throughout the house but it’s doubtful I’ll see much of it. I’ll be tinkering about.

I think Patriots will likely win but I’m pulling for the Rams.

Not a prediction, but a rule change suggestion on ot for next year.
Each team gets 1 possession starting At 50 yard line. If score is tied after that, team that scored the fastest wins. If 0-0 on ot, the team with the longest possession wins.

I like the idea of a 10:00 overtime. Score at the end wins.

I just gave someone the Rams +3 and they get pushes.

So basically I have NE -3.5. How foolish am I?

I think it’s a good bet.

Thanks. I don’t really want any reason to pull for NE (I’m not a hater) but I’m playing with his money anyway. I asked for that deal and he turned it down and shot it back at me. It seemed decent.
