Same here. Stupid watch, really annoyed by it this month. The Activity app challenges me to use at least 25.208 calories, and it says (for quite some time now) that i've used 22.918 calories. It does NOT update at all. Even though my daily calorie count averages around 700 'active calories' and a total of around 2700 calories.

So sad :(

Aaaaaaand it's gone. Stupid. It never updated the calorie count in the January Challenge, so I did not receive the medal, even though I should have.

I had two goals last month, same this month. Is that what everyone else sees? January was (1) reaching my daily move goal every day and (2) burning 2442 exercise calories every day (on top of the 2000 or so calories that go with just staying on top of the grass).

This month it's reaching my Move goal every day and doubling my Move goal 28 times this month.

Yes:
1) daily move goal (this is the one everybody has)
2) personalized goal (everybody has one catered to his/her own activity profile). This is the one with all the issues. For some people it does not seem to update throughout the month. After that, the medal disappears.

3) occasional 'special' challenges, such as "Ring in the new year". Which I apparently already completed even before 2018 had started. Which again proves that Apple has not sorted out the bugs in the activity app.

EDIT: WTF.

Why can't Apple get it right?!?! Apparently, I already earned my new challenge. The challenge: to workout for 2.671 minutes. Let's just say: it's been a tough day ;)

Everyone should have two monthly, the one where you complete your move goal every day of the month and the other being a personal challenge.

This month, I only have the one where I have to complete my move goal every day of the month.

What’s frustrating is my monthly challenge for Jan showed I exceeded my daily avg in the morning, in the evening it went down to 812 avg, my goal was 822 avg. no matter what I did the 812 avg didn’t move during the evening.

Further to this, rebooted my watch and my January challenge appeared! Only wish Apple would fix this bug...

My January goal was to average 80 minutes of exercise per day. When I checked it last night I was averaging 85 minutes. However when I got up this morning the January challenge was gone, and not listed as completed.

Reboot your watch, I just did and my challenge appeared. (Hold down both buttons on your watch until you see the Apple logo)

But now my February challenge is way off. At this rate I’ll get my February challenge before the end of the month! (I only did 4 exercise minutes so far)

I'm new'ish to Apple Watch but my 2/2018 challenge says: "Perfect Month --- Earn this award when you reach your Move goal every day of a single month." That's the only 2/2018 achievement I see. I guess the others will appear when I get closer to achieving them.

Did you check your Apple Watch app? In 'My Watch' > 'Activity' you can set your challenges.

I didn’t get a personal February challenge yet either. Tried restarting my phone, watch, etc.

Do you always get a personal month challenge? Anyone know?

Time is up people! Congrats to all those who made it!

For thos who didn't. I am trying to create a series of threads to motivate the MR community to Close the Challenge.

I for one, almost quit. But seeing people making it cemented my resolve.

I have update the title to reflect the new challenges for this new month.

How do you guys/gals close rings every day ? I did my first ever, in my life, 2-3 mile run for 7 days in a row and I was sore for over a week. (Set to 700 calories and 30 mins of exercise) and I'm not a light person or greatly in shape. Since I got my Apple Watch late November last year, I've run more since then than I have in my ENTIRE life combined.

I can't imagine doing 2-3 miles a day for a month. That said, I did last night, for the first time since having my watch, use 5 pound weights in each hand and box for 30 mins to complete my rings (180bpm at peaks).

I use a combination of three main types of exercises. The combination mostly depends on the challenges. I do outdoor bike, indoor walk/run (I have an @home walker), outdoor walk/run and elliptical.

My calories are set at 620 cal/day. First month was tough. After that, that's when the changes start happening for the better. I used to be the skinny when young-now fat kid in my circle of friends, not anymore :)

My Jan challenge was to complete all 3 circles 27 times, which I did on the last day of the month. The day before it was correctly showing that I needed one more day. After completing yesterday it was showing that I was still 3 short. Updated OS and rebooted both watch and phone a couples times and still not showing. Apple support on twitter said that it will show up in 9 days. Crazy!!!

I have mine set at 420 now, not because I can't do more but because I want to be able to do achieve that goal in one walk every day. I did that just this morning. It's a way to force myself into doing a 5.5 mile walk every day so I can meet my goal. I ended the day yesterday at 883 and 18,215 steps. Today, I'm already at 500 calories and I haven't even been to work yet.

I got my personal Feb. challenge a few minutes ago and I have to do 229.6 miles this month. Easily doable on my work days but a challenge on my off days.

Seriously? I just got my first Apple Watch just a few days after Christmas, so I'm kind of new to this. I thought completing the move goal was my personal challenge. Now today, I'm seeing it again. So if that's not my personal challenge, where do I find that?

I don't know what it did but this was my phone this morning:

My watch settings has all the activity checkboxes checked.

But I checked just now and it shows both! 12:09pm.

My current achievement is for 53 min per day. In January I average 52... so it’s a small push.

Right now as it’s already Feb it’s showing today only, 4 minutes.

Same as January, I'm assuming. I'm assuming because I wasn't paying attention until after I realized that by taking 1/1 off, I blew the achievement for the month :D

2/2018 goal one: Reach Move goal every day.
2/2018 goal two: Close all 3 rings every day.

I did both in December without even knowing about them. Took January 1 off, so even though I closed all 3 rings every other day of the month, no achievements.

I have to do something like 34 @15 minutes workouts this month. Which is really dumb, IMO. I do a 42 minute walk everyday, and have almost every day since I got my watch in mid-November. So today I started my walk workout, and 17 minutes into stopped the workout and restarted it again. Why would I do two short workouts a day? I'm happy to average 30 minutes a day, but why two a day? That's pretty lame, and also easy to game, which is what I did, and will do until I hit the required number.

That happened to me as well. I gamed it. I always bike for at least 1 hour. So having to do 50 workouts is not likely. I'll instead do smaller workouts when walking/running outside just to reach the target workouts. But time overall, it's still the same.

Oh I actually have to do 36 workouts, not 34. In the shortest month of the year. #eyeroll

My personal challenge for February says "Earn this award by reaching your daily Move goal 28 times." So basically, my personal goal and the perfect month award are the same damn thing! Apple come on. Shouldn't this not be a personal achievement challenge????

IMG_1387.PNG IMG_1388.PNG

My February challenge said I need to average 49 minutes of exercise per day to get the award.
