I think its getting more and more to "real S" model of this design. I don't have FaceID but all the complaints were about "angles" when they use it. I think Apple will successfully sell this phone like last year despite all the hate for the 3 camera design.

Face ID can already unlock the phone while lying flat on a table. Your face doesn't need to be directly over the phone either, it can be at angle to the sensor.
Mine does too but still, we're talking about even a wider range, which is always useful. You wouldn't have to lean as much to unlock it. Maybe they will also introduce the feature to unlock it in any position, just like the new iPad Pro.

So it's looking like no new series 5 apple watch. Just new casings for series 4 such as ceramic.

Non falsifiable rumors. If this person is right, hey he did great. Hits on some rumors, good job too. Hits on none, well they were just rumors....how could he know? Crazy.
Mark Gurman is probably the most reliable source when it comes to Apple. I don’t like the guy, find him to be arrogant personally, but that doesn’t change his reliability.

Can't wait for the launch, my 6s has virtually died, I have to carry a power pack with me if I want more than 90 mins out of it.

Roll on delivery day!

This will be a huge success for sure. Gonna get the largest phone for myself and the new XR for my partner.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has shared his expectations for Apple's fall product lineup and beyond, revealing new details along with existing rumors about upcoming iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, HomePod, and AirPods models.

Starting with the iPhone, the report claims the widely rumored triple-lens rear camera system on the higher-end models will enable a larger field of view for capturing ultra-wide-angle photos and videos, in addition to improving low-light photos. New editing tools while recording video are also expected.

The high-end iPhones will look nearly identical to the current models from the front, but at least some colors on the back will have a new matte finish, according to Gurman. Interestingly, he adds that the new iPhones should better withstand drops due to an unspecified "new shatter-resistance technology."

Gurman claims a new multi-angle Face ID sensor that captures a wider field of view will enable users to unlock the next iPhones more easily, even when the devices are laying flat on a table for example.

Other features outlined for 2019 iPhones include "dramatically enhanced" water resistance and faster A13 processors with a new co-processor known internally as "AMX" or "matrix." As for the next iPhone XR, Gurman corroborates rumors of it gaining a dual-lens rear camera and a new green color option.

As for the iPad, the report claims both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be refreshed in 2019 with improved cameras and faster processors. Gurman also backs the rumor of a 10.2-inch iPad launching later this year.

Turning to the Apple Watch, this year's changes are said to be "more muted," revolving around watchOS 6 and new case
finishes. Last week, iHelpBR's Filipe Espósito discovered new titanium and ceramic 40mm and 44mm Apple Watch models based on hidden assets in the watchOS 6 beta.

The report concludes that Apple plans to launch a new 16-inch MacBook Pro with slim bezels later this year, as well as new AirPods with water resistance and noise cancelation and a cheaper HomePod with reduced tweeters as early as 2020.

Tuesday, September 10 is the widely predicted date of Apple's traditional iPhone event, just under three weeks away.

The only thing that can tempt or entice me to buy this year iPhone if it has 1 TB storage option as 512 GB has been an obsolete option. iPhone is like a micro iPad to me. I do not really care for better camera and processor improvement. For those who are looking forward for better camera and processor and do not care the storage option, I hope they enjoy it :).

This iPhone release doesn’t interest me. Not in the slightest. Hard pass.
Yep, with you on this one.

That’s what I expected though. All year people have been saying that this launch would be weak because not much info has leaked and that Apple is “waiting for 2020.”

I guarantee when they get on that stage everyone on this forum will be like “TAKE MY MONEY.”
Not everyone.

A new designed, ergonomic iMac? I'm sick with the monolith iMac and the predatory and unethical policy of the company (upgrade RAM or SSD without pay the painful Apple tax).

I think the colored in camera lenses look better, but the closer we get to the unveil, I don't think they'll be going with that option.

I wonder what the minimum angle is.

I still prefer Touch ID because of this one aspect - not having to pickup, move, or barely tilt my head to unlock my phone, because, you know, I'm very lazy.
;)

The 2019 iPhones will also remove the silent switch and volume buttons in favour of fixed sealed seamless haptic buttons for improved water resistance.

This is a certain feature and can be seen within the iOS 13 software and Apple's decision to display 'silent mode on' and 'silent mode off' and the volume bar right next to the current buttons.

Well they’ve got me this year with the Face ID improvements. It’s my number one annoyance by far. Not much else has stood out to me in the rumors so far, aside from maybe the camera, but I was likely to upgrade anyway since I’m on the iPhone Upgrade Program. Glad to see there is more meat to this update than originally thought.

My main want is a night mode that rivals the ones from Huawei, Google and Samsung. The iPhone is terrible at low light photos which sucks when I want to take pictures of my daughter without blasting her eyes with a flash.

My Pixel really comes in handy in those moments.
