He’s too good for Williams, I can see why they are getting rid of him. I’d love to hear their explanation as to why he’s being dropped?RUSSELL 13th !!!

Good showing for Russell agreed. Also Gasly must be wondering why he’s not in the second Red Bull.

I thought he’d been confirmed for next year now? He’s too good for Williams, I can see why they are getting rid of him. I’d love to hear their explanation as to why he’s being dropped?

When Lewis retires?I think it might be because they know they can't keep him... ?
Surely he's bound to get a better ride...? Right?
I don’t know? I haven’t read much for a few days. It would be embarrassing for a new team to drop their better driver IMO.I thought he’d been confirmed for next year now?
Agreed. Well not unless your dad owns the team!I don’t know? I haven’t read much for a few days. It would be embarrassing for a new team to drop their better driver IMO.

Indeed, I think Gasly and Albon are too good for the second driver treatment at Red Bull to be honest.Gasly is doing a great job of showing what he can achieve, but in a Red Bull, based on previous seasons, I would doubt if he would do better than Albon is. It’s what Horner is saying anyway.

Honestly, I feel so bad for Albon, and even Russell. Oh, to add, Gasly; after his news last week.
Cannot see Albon ‘holding’ onto his seat. Poor guy.
Mercedes simply dominating F1. Not a huge fan of Max (his attitude sometimes is rather off putting), but, hardware failure is never how I want to see someone lose a podium place. At the same time, glad that Riccardo was on the podium...
Didn't they confirm Gasly was keeping his seat on Thursday or Friday?Entertaining race. Lewis drive well but really had some luck with the SC timing. If only Kimi had stayed out a lap or two longer.
Bottas doesn’t ever get the luck does he?
Good to see Daniel on the podium. Yes gifted by Max’s failure, but he still needed to be the best of the rest to cash in.
Pretty sure Gasly will lose his seat now. I expect to Perez.
Felt sorry for Russell. Might well have had a point today

Red Bull will work something out.
I assume you meant Albon rather than Gasly who, as above, resigned already. Perez seems likely, or maybe Hulk?Pretty sure Gasly will lose his seat now. I expect to Perez.

I did yes. Must be my age!I assume you meant Albon rather than Gasly who, as above, resigned already. Perez seems likely, or maybe Hulk?
I feel sorry for Russell as he had done all the hard work, but in the end it was his mistake not the team or the car letting him down.
So, who in the FIA is going to call RBR’s Bluff over pulling out of F1 if they don’t get the engine rules changed to 2022 from 2023?
Or is RBR serious ?
