I think we both missed our respective flights for the day. Unless they route things a different way, I'm guessing yours will be on the flight tomorrow morning to Mount Hope. https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS476
That's too bad. Sucks our packages didn't make an earlier flight into Louisville. Guess they will sit there now all day waiting for the next flight out. Hopefully it means we'll still get the package by Friday of this week but I'm not so sure.

Arrived in Louisville, KY on the 16th. Has been in a “cleared customs” status and not moved for 2 days.
Mine's in the same shipment, stuck in KY. I keep refreshing the tracking page twice a day hoping for movement. I got really excited when FedEx pulled up with a laptop shaped box yesterday, but it was just the empty box I'm to return my old MPB in.

My i5/32/2TB just arrived a day early though Fedex. Thanks for all the updates in this thread, everyone!

Given that I don’t have much to do during the quarantine and am eagerly waiting for my MBP, I analyzed the time it takes to get to Eindhoven for us Europeans with DHL. Looking at past MBP16 (before Corona) order Threads it took anywhere between 3 to 4 days to reach the Netherlands, while for the new MBA (during Corona, worst phase basically) it took 6 to 8 days. Hence we have to hope that the situation improved during the past 2 month and that it is closer to 3-4 days for us.

Originally ordered base 13" MBP, then canceled that and ordered the 10th gen. 16/512 on May 12. ETA late May, early June. Just received shipment notification from FedEx, will receive Wednesday in Texas. Stoked!

So my package apparently sat in a Shanghai warehouse overnight waiting to clear customs. The export scan didn’t take place until late in their afternoon, then departed not long after. It’s now sitting in Osaka, JP with an Arrival scan.

Guess my MBP is going on a little world tour. No wonder I won’t see it until Friday. Now I’m more interested in where else it will stop before it reaches me.

I think our MPBs are on the same shipment!

I’m just north of Toronto and in my experience, packages from Apple go from Anchorage to Louisville, then to Mount Hope, and finally to Concord before it’s out on a truck to me. My BTO 10th-gen is in Louiseville as of Saturday according to UPS tracking with 21st delivery but I feel it will be here sooner.
Hey @ccolaco , any updates on your shipping status? Mine is now sitting in Louisville. Looks like I missed the only flight out this morning to Hamilton airport. Doubt I'll see any further updates until tomorrow morning.

Fedex delivered a day early. Yay! Good luck to those awaiting deliveries.

Update: Fedex shipment arrived and departed Anchorage after some days in Shanghai. Fedex projects delivery in 2 days vs Apple next week.

ok.

but let's just stop here.

can we all agree that this is ludicrous.

it's a grown up company. WHY on earth, at a product launch, couldn't they have ample stock?

shouldn't this just be the case of sticking an address label on a box and shipping it. Even BTO you would be able to have in stock? You would kn ow that all variations will be ordered in the beginning.

Why does a company need 11 plus days, just to ship a product?

I needed to get that off my chest.
Apple basically operates BTO on a just-in-time basis. They mass produce a few configurations to send to stores and resellers.

Do the "ultimate" models (i7/32gb/2TB) get processed and shipped pretty quickly since they are essentially stock config models? Has anyone with very recent stock config orders last few days seen that Apple is catching up and shipping is occurring within a few days? If you order today it says 5/28 to 6/4 but wondering if those estimates will start improving now.

UPS had scheduled it to arrive on 5/22. But now it says: Please check again later for scheduled delivery

Does it first fly to ANCHORAGE, AK and then to Europe?
UPS routing for MacBook Pro’s bound for Germany is Shanghai > Seoul > Anchorage > Cologne.

It’s flight 5X87 all the way if you want to track it.

Mine took this route on Sunday.

Interesting thing is, when I ordered on May 11th, the expected delivery date was May end to June first week. If you order today (19th), it is the same delivery dates (may end to June first week) !

No change on my end since Saturday. UPS still shows an arrival scan in Louisville 05/16 at 11am, scheduled delivery 05/21. I'm hoping it was on that flight and there is just a delay in updating but thats probably not the case.

Thanks mate but no idea how to find the specific flight.

It looks like it’s still in Shanghai. Does it wait until the aircraft you mentioned comes back from Cologne?

Wait... what?! The one you received on Friday? Were you able to get money back from Apple?
Yes I received it on Friday ans it died on Saturday evening.

Apple offered to get it fixed by. 3rd party shop. I refused and will have it send back to Apple tomorrow.

I already ordered a replacement but it will show up on June 4th...

Oh jeez.... Damn.
Bestbuy is open for online pick-up, maybe check their inventory?
