Good call. The wait is truly excruciating. Mine is stuck in Osaka going on three days now. Ordered on May 5th which now feels like it was last year.
@ccolaco @katmeef Lets hope we all get our packages before the weekend. Mine is now in Mount Hope with Delivery today but given what happened with @ccolaco , I would be surprised if it came. here is my latest update:

So mine took an overland route to Detroit instead of the usual flight, which is strange. It looks like it has departed the Romulus (DTW) area and is enroute to my local UPS distribution center. Says delivery today by 2100, but we'll see if that sticks.
EDIT: Arrived at local distribution. The main question will be whether or not it actually gets delivered. That and another item of mine, which has been traveling with my MBP since Louisville, both show loaded onto vehicle for delivery. FINGERS CROSSED!

Looks like although it said to be shipped, this also doesn't mean that we are able to receive it within 1 week after shipped

Yes, let's hope indeed! I attached a screenshot of my updates from when it arrived in Mount Hope to where it is now at Concord to maybe give you an idea of when to expect yours. Either way its hard to trust any of these updates as the scheduled delivery date has changed multiple times now in just a few days.
Well, my tracking has been updated. Originally due for delivery by end of day tomorrow, after having been stuck in Osaka all week it now says delivery next Wednesday. Highly disappointed.
I wonder if they will send my package to concord even though I’m in Oakville. It would make no sense for them to do that but not sure where their distribution hub is for west GTA if they have one. If my package has to drive by my town to go to concord, it will be disappointing for sure.
Our laptops must be on the same plane. Was sitting in Osaka since Tuesday for a Friday (tomorrow) delivery. Delivery just rescheduled to Wednesday (5/27). To be fair, the original Apple estimate was 5/28-6/1, but I had gotten my hopes up for an early delivery!
I ordered one this past Sunday from Amazon, which said delivery next Friday 5/29. Because of my moving situation I need to get it by the end of this week, so figured I’d hope it arrives sooner than they said or else just cancel.
Yesterday I noticed they put a “pending” charge for it on my card on Tuesday, and it says “preparing for shipment”, with one day shipping, though still an estimated delivery of 5/29. *Theoretically* this should mean they have it on hand and are getting ready to ship it, which could mean I do actually get it this week, but it’s just been “preparing” for 24+ hours now.
Anyone else order from Amazon and can attest to how long it took to arrive?

Yeah Concord is my main distribution centre so I know the next stop is my house. It does seem out of the way for west GTA/Oakville though, I imagine yours will come straight out of Mount Hope. It's just so difficult trust UPS tracking right now for anything really. For example, I have an order from Adidas.ca that, according to UPS, says it is 'Out for delivery' but has a scheduled delivery date for Friday May 22...
It’s too bad yours has to go to concord and wait delivery from there, it’s another stop that just seems to delay everything.
Seems I might be getting lucky. Mine now shows the following (fingers crossed):

Looks like Apple's estimate was right in my case. It's currently stuck in Japan and now they are saying 5/27. This sucks.

Cleared Customs in Japan, but Scheduled Delivery has updated to Wednesday, the 27th
Just great. I normally don’t order launch devices from Apple. I get my iPhones from my carrier and all other items have been either at the a store like BB a month or even later after release. I should have known better given the current climate, but the 10% discount couldn’t be beat.
Lesson learned.

I hope yours won't be. It's funny because if this doesn't get delivered today, this will be the longest delay we've had with UPS since the pandemic began. It is a little concerning. I can't help but think this isn't a simple delay.
I don't think it's coming today. No out for delivery scan. Still nothing new on the tracking since that destination scan Monday afternoon. But UPS guy doesn't hit my area until after 4p.m., so....it'll be a long day of wait and see. Third day in a row. I just hate that it's the norm for our packages to miss the out for delivery scan, so it's a guessing game rather than knowing right away that it will not come.
Fun times! I honestly should have just ordered from Best Buy. Canada Post is fantastic. FedEx was able to overnight a package from B.C. Purolator has a package out for delivery that shipped on Tuesday from B.C. But UPS cannot deliver this damn MacBook. Pandemic or not, they are just bad.
I feel the same way. Unfortunately, nobody offers models with 32GB of RAM, so I had to order directly from the Apple site.
I got the same update, and was similarly disappointed. Fortunately I had a dentist appt this morning or else the shipping update would have been the worst part of my morning :/
I’m gonna tell myself they’re diverting their airplanes to bring aid to people impacted by the typhoon to make myself feel better. I doubt that’s the actual reason, but I hope its a good reason because I’m quite peeved.

Yep, same here. I'm pretty ticked off. This is the last item I order directly from Apple. I ordered directly thinking that was the fastest way to get it, but that is no longer the case. Might as well order from other places that offer discounts.
