Looks like there’s a few of us who got screwed in Osaka. I now have an Osaka departure scan though. Finally, progress resumes.

Adorama does, at least in the US, and with a $150 discount. But again thought I would get it faster directly from Apple, but that seems not to be the case.
agreed. I got a departure scan at 10:15pm JST, and it certainly wouldn’t take long to get to alaska via air. All I can think of is they expect delays once it’s in the US or (less likely) that it’s going by freighter to Alaska for some godforsaken reason.
Ah well, it gives me time to figure out what the heck to do with the touchbar.
At this point I think I lost hope and my order will get delayed..

Just flipped over to "Preparing to ship" and CC was just charged. Still no shipping information, but I am guessing it will beat the original June 2 - June 9 delivery date.
Update - Finally preparing to ship!! To echo some of the sentiments here, this will be the last time I order through Apple's online store.
Gotcha. Someone above mentioned they might be batch shipping rather than sending out orders as they’re ready....that would make sense since there seems to be computers with a range of order dates sitting in Japan...I ordered mine on the 4th, as did @naturalstar I believe.

My card was charged today and finally moved to preparing to ship.
For those that are expecting their deliveries today, I received a text message from Apple today saying "today is the day" confirming that my delivery will be made today. Not sure if this helps anyone but it seems to confirm UPS' website update that my package will be in my hands by end of business today.
So for those of us with the Departure Scan at 10:15pm Osaka time, I hope that’s a true departure scan. It was a fake scan when it was in Shanghai. It was soon followed by an Arrival scan and sat overnight.
IF we do escape from Osaka, then there could still be a slim chance for tomorrow, but with every retailer throwing Memorial Day sales online and just the holiday in general, I’m not betting on anything.
ETA: The optimist in me also wants to think that with the time zone changes our packages are going through and UPS not operating at 100%, the system could just be updating to reflect normal calculated logistic algorithms based on this time of year. Sooooo, we could get our packages after all, just a glitch in the matrix so to speak is messing with our emotions. Or just mine

Just delivered! Funny enough, my wife's brand new ultimate Surface Book 3 was delivered at the same time. We'll see how is happier after a few months! Jealous of that Nvidia card...

It's the flight that matches the departure scan, so as long as the scan is accurate, I think so.
Ok, so in reviewing the past history of the flight found by @benredacted, this flight will make it to Anchorage in the afternoon ASKT and then fly on the Louisville, making it there in the dead of night. If UPS does what it normally does in the middle of the night at that hub, there’s still hope for Friday. If we have the A-Team working and not a B-Team crew, of course.
As much as I want to believe, I'm going to pin my expectations on the Wednesday delivery and be pleasantly surprised if it shows up early.
