looks good! wasn't asking to call you out , haha by all means reviews are good just looking for more data points

I wonder why this one works for you, since it doesn't look any shorter on the sides

Oh no worries, I totally get it.

And honestly I have no idea since others weren't working for me. And I'm not going to take this off to try the Zagg/Armor Edge. :p

Ailun - from Amazon. But it's apparently NOT delivering today - now saying Sunday, which makes absolutely no sense. I guess I'll see it Saturday or Monday.

My guess is that the manufacturers will have to make the glass protectors just a tad smaller to account for the inaccurate specs they were given. I'm holding out for the Moshi iVisor to be updated for the SE2. It's a film matte protector, and may work find with the 6/7/8 version, but Moshi confirmed that they are working on a specific version.

Oh, and Moshi did respond saying there is a slight difference in the SE2 screen curvature (for those that are still believing it's a screen protector defect across almost all brands somehow). :)

The first one I tried was Insignia, and go figure, it lays down perfectly clean with zero ghosting. 👍

FWIW, when I bought it online (for curbside pickup), it said it was for the 2nd Gen iPhone SE, but the box they gave me actually says iPhone 8. It also doesn’t appear any less narrow than the others I’ve tried. But it works perfectly and actually feels really great compared to others as well (never used Insignia before). Maybe I got lucky, but just FYI.

Definitely interesting and great to know! Who would have known, Insiginia, Best Buy’s house brand offers quality glass protectors. Really puts the other manufacturers to shame.

IMO, I just think Best Buy got lucky that theirs fit. :) Lots of quality brands are no bueno on the SE2. I see the Insignia is expensive like everything else at the store.....so I guess I'll hold out for the good 3 packs for $8 in the near future.

We go through screen protectors like hotcakes over here with 7 grandkids having iPads, several adults having iPads, and 8 people having iPhones. I change them if they get damaged, obviously, but also if/when they just get too scuffed up, or get a loose edge, etc. I'm pretty OCD about things like that.

I will say though that I have pretty much perfected the installations. ;-p

Same here. I've gotten pretty good at installation, and I can't stand a single bubble or rubbed or scuff marks, especially on my own device. The rest of the family is much more tolerant than I am, but I still replace theirs anyway. So the cheap multi-packs online are good deals.

I agree. I don't fully understand why it would work instead of the others (maybe better adhesive? maybe slightly more flexible along the edges?), I'm just glad it does.

I'm also incredibly OCD about my glass screen protectors, but can't go without them either...

Post pics of your phone with the Insignia? Link which one you bought as well? Help us out here

That screen protector has the halo effect as well.
Does it have that ?

Can we get a better pic ? If it has it seems extremely minimal

Maybe these will show it a bit better. It's not the thinnest glass protector in the world, so at certain angles/lighting, the light reflects off the edges pretty good, but it's not halo.

Has anybody been able to test the Rhinoshield impact protector on the new SE? (Not the tempered glass one)

So just tested 054GL22382 screen protector from spigen and it's working but the side are not great

But it's better than nothing and it's easy to put on with the EZ Fit

I was gonna get a bodyguardz replacement , and free shipping waived but they want a credit card on file and said I should add tracking to return the screen protector because if they don’t get it back they charge the full Retail price of the protector

Googling found too many horror stories of them verifiably receiving it and still charging customers. Or no charge/ all is well and then a charge showing up mysteriously months later

Such BS

Couldn’t get a clear answer if a replacement would fix halo issue or not either

SMH. headache averted.

Got the phone... and before handing it to my daughter, I wanted to install the screen protector.

Installed the glass screen protector that was meant for iPhone 8 and... it is definitely too large. The edges are not sticking, it seems like they are "in the air" so to speak.

Amazon listings are confusing, as they seem to indicate that the same protector will cover anything from iPhone 6s to 2020 iPhone SE.

Am I the only one confused? Which glass screen protector will truly fit?
You’re right. The screen protectors from iphone 6 through 8 are not compatible with the 2020 iphone SE. I am having the exact same problem. I used my spare iphone 7/8 screen protectors and i went through two screen protectors only to discover that the iPhone SE’s screen has a slightly more curve to the screen at the edges. I hope there is a fix in screen protectors for this issue.

Lol, I think the following is a much more obvious example of a halo effect. ;)

(For what it's worth, this was a left over amFilm, which works fine on my work iPhone 8, but has this horrible effect on my personal SE.)
