I had the alignment frame from a different protector that had a huge halo so I used that and lined it up perfect.
I’ll probably end up opening the maxboost screen protectors and using the alignment frame from those when installing the second amFilm. The maxboost and amFilm were both delivered today.

Haven't read all of the 5 pages here so I'll ask simply..

Is there a tempered glass full screen protector for the 2020 SE that covers the entire front glass and doesn't leave a gap all the way round? Ideally one with an installation frame as they're always helpful. Thanks.

Update: I used the alignment tray included with the maxboost kit and the installation of the amFilm protector still came out a little wonky. The bottom of the amFilm protector is slightly skewed to the right side and it will lift off of the screen a tiny bit randomly. It sticks for the most part once pressed down, but I ended up ordering another amFilm set from amazon that will be delivered tomorrow.

The maxboost screen protector does NOT fit the 2020 se at all. I figured since it looked similar in size compared side by side to the amFilm it should work, but was I wrong. Instant halo effect on the top, bottom and both the left/right sides. Below is a link to the maxboost protectors that do not fit the new se.

I just edited my post. The fit is perfect!
I’m glad to hear this. I got this one but haven’t put it on after ripping my last one of a different brand off. I’ve let the phone go naked. I got tired of lint getting right under the protector where the front facing camera is. I’ll get around to trying this one eventually.

I’m with you. I’ve been having the strong urge to rip this screen protector off and leave it as is. My 11 pro screen protector is scratched up, but that was done pre-covid when I was still going to a commercial gym and throwing my phone in my gym bag. I’m sure if I took care of it; the scratches wouldn’t be there. I’m assuming the screen scratches due to having the phone share a pocket with other items like keys and pens. I always have my left front pocket of my pants as a dedicated pocket for my phone and a holster on a duty belt. No scratches so far on the se screen protector. I think you should be fine without one.

My Caudabe 11 Pro screen protector fits perfectly. I can’t even tell it’s on there. So using it is totally a non issue for me. But yeah the screen protector situation on my SE has been a headache. I don’t plan to trade this phone in, so I don’t feel compelled to keep it pristine. So far it’s doing fine in my pocket. My kids have to put their phones in backpacks with other things so yeah, you’re right that’s hard on phone displays.

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve had the same spigen screen protector on my 11 pro since launch (installed before even powering it on for the first time) and I can barely tell it’s there. But, this se is a different animal all together. I’ll probably end up running the se naked this weekend and see what happens.
