Race Director staying out of this one, unlike Saudi Arabia...

Max had the corner (even if he forced the issue) and he did stay in the track. Lewis looks like he did use the proper track re-entry point, but that meant he did not lose much momentum so guess it comes down how much did Lewis slow when he re-entered the track to "return" his advantage.

What the hell! So in other races that move in the first lap is fine, others it's not, they tell cars must stay on track, it was easily Max's corner and Lewis left the door open and Lewis gains a clear advantage going off track yet he doesn't have to give the position back?? What the hell are the stewards and FIA doing? Manufacturing the result it seems.
No point in racing when the rules change every lap for every driver for every race.

Trouble is now with a decision that could have gone either way, is if Lewis wins it’s going to be because of the incident in some peoples eyes. Truth is Max on the better tyres blew the start. Now he’s hoping for an incident.

Eh. Not even bothered to read your post or anyone else's.

I said earlier on here, or some other board, that Lewie would run away today.

He has.

Fair play. Well done Lewie. Great start as well. Was Max checking his FB page when the lights went out? lol.

Yeah I think the AMG has the performance edge tonight.

And this is what Lewis needs to do - show that performance is such that even if Max had been ahead at the corner, Lewis could still pass him at will later in the lap.

Suck it up, Lewis. That was all clean by Perez.

Yeah and Toto was crying to the race director calling it dangerous driving, he got the reply 'no that's called hard racing Toto'.. winds me up when they play the victim to try and get an advantage.

Red Bull we’re crying and nobody here mentioned that. It’s games for the race directors benefit, that’s all.

I haven't herd them do that I'm afraid. All I've heard is RB correctly question the judgment on allowing Lewis to gain an advantage going off track. In todays race that is. But no one moans like Lewis dies and Mercedes at some points.

Continuing to argue it after the decision is no better than asking the RD to look into the driving of a rival.

Interestingly you had no problem with Verstappen pushing Lewis off track in Brazil when neither driver was punished but here you do? Hamilton reduced the gap to take away the advantage as requested and it need no further action. It was all irrelevant too considering the pace of the Mercedes’ at that point.

Lewis will walk away with it now, and they'll do the same next year too as they'll have more money then anyone else. Not sure if RB will be able to compete as much with their new Mugan engine.

In-car camera shots from Perez are great. Would like to see more of that.

Lewis continues to pull away. Hard to see how Max could win today with the apparent difference between the two cars.

Farewell, Kimi!

Max went too fast into the corner at Brazil, but I don't think anyone can complain about Brazil now.

And I'm sorry but Toto has ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to tell the race director NOT to use a safety car as it 'interferes with racing'...
