No matter what the NFL does some are going to be upset.
No question, that was my very thought too.

I usually don't defend the NFL, but their hands were tied and this imo is really the best option and most fair for the entire league.

You just know some lawyer somewhere is going to file suit over paying for a ticket and not getting a full game.

And still, depending on what happens this weekend, it may not matter.

The best option was to extend the season a week by eliminating the useless pro bowl stuff and allowing Buf and Cin to settle it on the field. No special rules needed. No percentages. No home field/week off choices or any stupid stuff that has been proposed. Plus, the other 12 playoff teams will appreciate an extra week of rest.

Well if they allow those hideous Buccaneers, Patriots, Falcons, and Rams uniforms ... like, what do you expect...?

Useles to whom?

As bad as the probowl is, the NFL makes money off of it. Money is king with the NFL, and for them, they'll generate more money and have less disruption by not moving the playoffs and just biting the bullet with the buff/cincy game.

I'm not saying its the right decision, but overall its the best, at least terms of keeping things moving forward and least disruptive.

Either way its a moo point, since the NFL already decided

lol...

You're correct, the pro bowl only benefits the NFL.... and any player that might have a "pro bowl bonus" clause... which I'm sure they all do...

But I hate it. I don't care for any "all star" type of game.

Everyone knows it's "moot", right? lol :p

Is tonights game between the Jaguars and their opponent worth watching?

that viking packer gam was good, smash-mouth fair heavy tackling
then something happened were the Vikings shriveled up and started playing flag football instead.

so I turned off the game.

thanks in advance!

I didn't get the Friends reference, and wondered about the pic you posted. So that has nothing to do with the beverage, I guess.

I had a colleague who always said "mute point". He was very intelligent and highly educated, but I guess that's the way he heard it as a kid. Some things never leave you. No matter how many times he's heard it said correctly, he's stuck.

Anyway, great to hear that Damar Hamlin is alert and able to speak, breathe on his own, etc. Time might change the decision to skip that game. The players and players union might weigh in now that Hamlin seems to be recovering.

Rock paper scissors?

Make it Final Jeopardy, and I’m in!

Or better yet, a math equation. I do recall someone forgoing the playoffs or the Super Bowl to deliver his math thesis to earn his Ph.D.

BL.

They could do a punt pass and kick competition.

Have the 24 Bills players vs 24 Bengals players go at in Madden NFL. NFL tie breaker procedures if it ends up a 24/24 tie.

The players should decide the game. No risk of injury, except wounded pride.😁

How about they just make competing rap videos and let the fans decide. I mean it worked for the Bears in '86. ;)

The Jags - last year 3-14 and this year winning their division with a record of 9 - 8. Amazing, congrats to them
