I didn't see the WAS upset coming. I knew they were good and better than their record indicated but still...

What if it's a DC area BAL/WAS Super Bowl?
Ooo these are neighboring teams! I never seen one like that before.

How’s the Rams fans feeling about a snowy Philly game today?? Horns up y’all it’s GAMEDAY today!

The next self destruction. Playoff Lamar strikes again. Three turnovers, two on him, one on Andrews who also didn't catch the ball for the 2pt conversion. Should have been an easy win.

So, the Bills are going to Kansas. This reminds me a lot of the 2023 season. Bills won in the regular season, then lost in the playoffs.

Commanders vs Eagles
Bills vs. Chiefs

Winners in bold.
Chiefs vs Eagles in SB.

I'd like to see the Commanders win, but I don't think it's going to happen and the Eagles won't have a meltdown like the Lions.

I'm pretty sure the refs will do everything in their power to keep the Chiefs out of another SB, which would be the third in three years. Really bad for the NFL financially. But I have to believe in a fair game and the fact one should never underestimate the Chiefs. Then we'd have a rematch of SB LVII and possible the first ever 3-peat.

We could then move on from records and have the Niners win next year.

1-4 in the divisional round. Gawd, I only got the no-brainer choice right.🫤

I'll probably get both conference champs wrong, so I won't embarrass myself by voicing my picks.🤐

I watched the summary of the Ravens v Bills game, it was cringe worthy to see the Ravens lose. I think the cold weather somewhat affected the results.

This post did not age well ... lol
In the first half of the game, I had to step out after the first quarter to grab some snacks and check out iPhone cases for the new 15 Pro that's on its way. I ended up catching most of the game on the radio. I really thought the Rams would take the divisional round, but then Philly got hit with a snowstorm in the second half. When I heard "Fly Eagles Fly" being chanted a lot during that half, I had a feeling it was over for the Rams. Towards the end, Saquon Barkley made an incredible return for a touchdown, and Stafford tried to rally back but threw an incomplete pass at the two-minute warning. Well, Rams house, we'll see you next season! We’re still LA STRONG 💪 all day, every day. Too bad we couldn’t snag a third title this time.
I will still put on these Niners or Rams sport band whenever I feel like it or snap it on my Apple Watch this upcoming draft.

I felt bad for Lamar Jackson - another disappointing end to the season, and a terrible one at that. He was super classy in defeat - obviously he was pissed and frustrated - but he refused to let Andrews take the heat for the drop, and his comments about Josh Allen were pretty cool. I've come to really like the guy.

And that weird because NV has no state income tax. So a $100M contract is worth $13M more than in CA.

Basically they have a 5-10% higher salary cap than most of the league (FL, TN, TX, WA do as well).

NFC North beat up on the rest of the league during the regular season (29-4), but none left standing when it really counts…

The Rams won a thoroughly mediocre NFC West almost by default, but give them credit for getting better as the year ended. Just a bit short.

NFL coaches are like top draft picks, particularly QBs. The teams you're mostly likely to join are only in that position because they suck, and need help.

College players can't do anything about it, unless your an Elway or a Manning, refuse to join, and force a post-draft trade.

Coaches? Finally get a shot at being the boss, and a big paycheck, but having to work for a crappy owner is the tradeoff. Some will take the money, get fired, run and hope that they get another shot. Others take the Roger Murtaugh "I'm too … for this …" route.

Plus, many successful coordinators are simply not suited to be HCs. Vic Fangio got his shot in Denver, but is back to leading another very good defense in Philly.

I'm leaning towards WAS ... not saying they're going to win it's just who I'm rooting for...
BUF too... but I don't think they can't beat any of the remaining teams.

If Washington can contain Barkley, then they have a chance. But if he is able to break containment and get into the secondary, it will be a long day for the defense. Spread is Eagles -6 which seems huge for t his game.

Can Buffalo beat KC? Absolutely they CAN beat them, but I would still bet on KC who are only -1 favs.

A lot of people have anointed Daniels the next Chosen One, after his performance this season and against the Lions.

That could very well turn out to be true, but it's still premature. Stroud was in a similar situation last season, but regressed this season (which the Texans have blamed on their now former OC).

First up, he'll have to beat the #1 defense of the Eagles, and Vic Fangio, which will be harder than going against the depleted defense of the Lions. People, including those here, were pointing to that as their Achilles heel, and it was.

In that game, the Lions offense did what they've done all season, putting up 30+ points and 500+ yards against the Commanders. But, five turnovers and the weakened defense gave the Commanders, who were also playing with house money and had nothing to lose, the opening, and they took advantage of it.

The Eagles are better on paper, and if they control the pace of the game with Barkley, and their defense plays to expectation, they'll win. Daniels and the offense can't beat them if they spend more time sitting on the bench than they did against the Lions, who fell behind and couldn't catch up. But, if Daniels is behind, can he lead them from that situation? Many think he has the poise to do so, but we shall see.

Buffalo can, and has beaten KC…in the regular season. If they take that same mindset into this game, they can do it, but it won't be easy. Hard enough to beat Mahomes already, and there can't be any doubts going into this game, or they'll doom themselves already.

Hopefully, they'll be good games.

Pete Carroll has been hired by the RAIDERS...

Some may see it as a retread, but I think that's a good hire. He's experienced, and knows how to coach a team, and build a winning culture, and has done it in both college and the pros. The biggest questions are if the organization, which chews up and spits out people, will allow him to do it on his terms, and if he's still up for the challenge at his age. He'll be 77 by the time the full term of his contract expires.

Schottenheimer won't be able to claim he didn't know what he was getting into with Jerry and the Cowboys.

Saleh back to his old haunt as SF DC, but is it possible to go home again and find success? He had better players the in his first stint.
