Well, Mahomes moves more and also out of the pocket in a single game than Brady did in his whole career. Brady was as mobile as an IKEA bookshelf.
Lucky for everyone else Brady rarely leaves the pocket, because the GOAT shield makes him untouchable. Re-watch his lead blocking for Blount against the Jets in 2016.😂😂😂 He waded through one of the orneriest defense in the league, untouched.🤨

Patriots did have de-inflation Gate. 🙃
I agree that any team that wins too much becomes highly disliked, even hated.
In the KC- Bills game, I thought the contested interception should have gone to the Bills. I could not determine if Allen made the first down or not. In a previous game, a foul was called on a player who hit Mahomes after the whistle was called that I viewed as his momentum only, should not have been called.

Yet, through out the season, KC had some lucky breaks that resulted in wins, but ultimately Mahomes is a great talent and threat. He consistently makes huge plays, easily argued he is the most talented QB presently playing. And yes, he does have competition.
de-inflation Gate - This one gets me because I believe the rules should be changed. It helps the offense, i.e. gets scoring up, if they allow the QB to have the ball inflated to his liking. They should set parameters (hi/low) and let them decide within those confines.

They did. Patriot's balls were still under the limit.

The NFL rules stipulate the balls shall be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 psi. But doesn't not take into account temperature. So a ball inflated to 12.5 in a 72 degree locker room will be lower once take out to a 20 degree field.

Then they need to move the limits to accommodate...

I wonder if that was considered?

One zebra has a third hand and a 2 visors. The other has his arm up Mahome's or Pacheco's (_!_).

Is it a whole body transplant or a head transplant when it's a head swap?🤔 I think it's a whole body transplant, but Meus and Moose disagrees. Muce is undecided.🤷‍♂️
You forgot to point out that Mahomes’ jersey has the wrong number. Not to mention, it should be the Chiefs holding up a ref on their shoulders.

I still thought this was funny, however.

He pointed it out by saying the ref had his hand up "Mahomes or Pacheco's a$$" lol... That's pacheco's number

The growing pains of AI lol.

Some here won't watch the SB, and that includes myself, but I'll throw out a pick out anyway --

Eagles are better on paper, and if Barkley can run, and the #1 defense remains stout, they will win. The old clichés.

But, never bet against Mahomes and Reid. If the game is close, all bets are off.

Mahomes is 17-0 in one score games since 2023.

Of course I'm watching. I want to see the 3-peat. That's a once in a lifetime chance to see it. But I'm really afraid the refs will do everything in their power to prevent it. The NFL hates dynasties, a 3-peat would be the worst possible thing that could happen for the NFL.

I'm watching.. These are 2 very good teams and there are some nice story lines. I want Barkley to do well, and of course there's history on the line with the 3-peat. I think it will be a great game that comes down to the final drive.

You're the only guy I know that thinks the refs are *against* the Chiefs! :p

Not really, the amount of haters out there is just massive. Similar to the Patriots back in the day. It was always the refs making them win, which was BS back then and is BS now for the Chiefs.

There are so many missed calls by the refs in favor for specific teams, it’s just not funny anymore. You can grab the NFL feeds from satellite and run an AI model on it to get them all. That’s why I’m always saying in addition to the refs, we need every camera feed run through an automated system double checking it and interfere if something is detected. It’s also possible to pinpoint the ball position with sub-mm accuracy. We have the technology for it and there’s certainly enough money in the NFL. They just don’t want to, they want to rely on spot-decisions. The NFL also claims it can’t be done, which has beed demonstrated to be wrong in countless peer reviewed publications. It might take the “emotion” out of the game, but also prevent wins in favor for some teams. Just ask the Saints.

Another option would be to do it like the NHL or NBA. Their refs also make bad decisions, just less than the NFL. We could have best-of-three playoffs and best-of-seven SB. But since a football game is much longer than a NBA or NHL game, that would come with other issues. It would be the much better option though in terms of fairness.

Well, that didn’t take long for the refs to make false calls in favor for the Eagles. I was surprised they saw that offensive pass interference, when the Eagles player pushed the face mask of the Chiefs player and caused him to trip and fall. He didn’t even look at the ball. And then we get an unnecessary roughness call for two players fighting for the ball mid air, which is perfectly legal and ok, but gives the Eagles a new down, resulting in a touchdown. And of course they gave the touchdown right away, when Stevie Wonder would have seen it was short of the end zone. Bet we’re gonna see more first downs for the Eagles based on ref calls. Will be pretty impossible for the Chiefs to win this against the refs, err I mean Eagles.

On a side note, Jets are getting rid of Rodgers. Good for them. I hope he won’t end up with the Vikings or the Steelers. Darnold and Rodgers swap would suck. If rumors are true and Wilson is going to the Raiders, joining Carroll, I hope Rodgers won’t fill that gap. He should retire in Florida where he can watch dolphins (not the team) having sex all day long as he enjoys it so much.
