I wonder if the Steelers are a paper tiger? Looking at who they beat, doesn't completely install a lot of confidence. Jets, Pats, Vikings, and Browns. They lost to Seattle, and now the Bengals.

Here's the schedule coming up, and it looks like some tough sledding for steelers. Both Rodger's and the Packers are going to be amped up for next week's game, but you also have the Colts, Chargers, Bears and Bills. Inbetween them, are the Bengals again.

I can see them losing 4 out of the up and coming 6 games.

I was rooting for the Bengals last night, so I was thrilled with the outcome. TBH, I didn't have much faith in Flacco, but he certainly came through. Rodger's being the oldest player in the NFL...maybe after this season, he'll realize it may be time to enjoy his retirement. (Never been a fan.)

Totally agree with the 'never a fan' sentiment (and his 'off the field' tinfoil hat stuff absolutely plays into that). So much of his legacy is running up stats in the regular season (at least two of his MVPs were laughable) and collapsing in the playoffs.

I appreciate the talent but also look at him as one of the most overrated (future) first ballot hall of famers.

Wentz is looking really bad, he's made some really poor decisions, the fans started booing after Wentz threw two INTs in the 2nd quarter.

OMG that Broncos game (my daughter’s team) about gave me a heart attack! It’s going to take a while for me to recover after that one.
Definitely an exciting 5 or so minutes at the end of that game!

In the earliest game, the Rams looked good.

And when are the Raiders going to finally bench Geno?!?!?

New England 5-2? Who would have guessed

That was one heck of a come back, and that has to rip the heart of out of the giants.

Then there's the Jets
the NY Post (paywalled) opened up with this:
Only the Jets could need to bench a quarterback who has not thrown an interception all season.
Only the Jets could have a quarterback controversy with options as exciting as a colonoscopy.

Lol, gotta love NY media, and their subtle writing.

The 49er's won last night, a little surprising, you know what else is surprising? Mac Jones. Who would have thought when the patriots put Joe Judge a special teams coach, as a QB coach, the QB trying to learn the NFL would struggle.

what a head shaker, I turned that game off several times over outside detractions, stupid commercials
and bad bronco play.
then poof! Bo stated to tossing darts, they intercepted, and then took the lead just to screw up.
well we know the rest of the story!

kinda lucky they are 5-2 which looks better than 4-3.

Let me circle back on Wentz, he settled down in the 2nd half and made some good plays to keep Minn in the game. He seems to to rattled rather easily, and once he's off kilter he was making some rather poor decisions. Once the oline was protecting him better he settled down and played fairly well.

I think that's been his knock, if he's flushed out of the pocket or needs to scramble, then bad things happen

its hard being a raiders fan, one thing i will say tho is that cheap shot on Max Knee that wasn't called because its legal is BS because god forbid that happened to Patrick or Travis Flags would have flown everywhere plus a fine

Tom Brady has talked a lot about how teams are doing such a disservice to young QBs by expecting them to step immediately into QB1 roles rather than taking time to help them learn systems in detail and develop the tools to succeed.

No question, it used to be that they'd hold a clipboard for the first 2, maybe 3 years, and then start, now there's an expectation that you start as soon as you're drafted. I think Mahomes is the only QB in the last x number of years who started as rookie and succeeded. Maybe there's more but no one comes to mind. That's a horrible track record.

The Clowns are snake bitten when comes to QB. They selected 5 QB in the first round. 4 are bust. They traded away their 1st round pick to Houston, who promptly selected DeShaun Watson. They traded 4 first round pick for the guy they could have picked. Insult to injury, he stunk it up as their QB. They picked Mayfield number one overall, only to see another QB in the same draft class--Jackson--play lights out. They traded Mayfield who's playing at an MVP level this year. Talk about your Keystone Kops level of incompetence.
Yeah I am down bad as a Dolphins fan, but the Browns would have caused me to switch to a new team. When Flores wanted Watson over Tua, I was definitely out if he had pulled it off. Now I kind of wish he had LOL.

Of course, I'm prejudiced because he was our Duck, but Bo Nix has taken the Broncos to the best record they've had in nine years so far this season. (Nothing like back in the 80s). OTOH, I'm not arguing with your point because there have been many times his youth and lack of experience have shown as well.
