I'm surprised to see him struggling as much as he is...

Clearly the Vikings coaches and management feel the same.

I suspect JJ is an example of the kind of quarterback who needs several years standing on the sidelines while learning how to play at the Pro level.....the way teams used to break in their QB draft picks.

This season is basically over for the Vikings, so (maybe) Max Brosmer will get a chance now

What do you think the odds are the Dolphins can talk the Titans into drafting Mendoza with the first overall pick and then trading Cam Ward to Miami for their first round pick? I mean, new coaching staff coming in…Cam’s not their guy, right?
For such a bad team, the dolphins are projected (so far) to have a horrible draft position. their only hope is to pay through the nose to move up

Thursday's matchup

The 1:00pm game looks to be a great one, we'll see how both detroit and GB play - both were on the short list of potential super bowl candidates, and both have been stumbling this season.

I don't see KC losing against Dallas
The 8:30 game looks like a snoozer, I'll probably be in a food coma by then anyways.

I didn't see the game, but one can assume that Purdy has a team around him, that Smith doesn't. I think given Mac Jones success and Purdy winning after having that many turnovers one could make the assumption that the system Shanahan has implemented is more important then who's behind the center. I don't follow the 49ers so I really don't know

I didn't watch the game either, but Purdy is still not completely healthy, can't plant on his bum toe, and was throwing ducks.

But having CMC, and others picked up the slack, and the game plan was tailored as such.

With Geno struggling, a sensible coaching staff would do the same for the Raiders. They have a vaunted rookie RB, but I don't know how he has done this season, or if he's ready to take on such a role.

LOL

I always thought he looked too fragile, back when he was at LSU, back when cincy had that super bowl run with him - I had to admit I was wrong, until I wasn't :)

My point is, do you really want to put him in front of the ravens who are frustrated they've had a down year?

Agreed, at this point he is nothing more than a sacrificial lamb.

They aren't going to make the post season. I'd wait another week.

I'd wait until next season...their upcoming games all come against teams with good pressure rates. What's the point of getting him hurt again. At this point Tua has played more games than Joe--think about that for a second.
