First of all, I would not be calling him "Dad" anymore, thats just me tho. It will be interesting to see how Morris hold up through the day. He might lose it at any moment.

And this bugged me, If you are chasing 2 people and they disappear why not look behind the dumpsters first.

Is it me or did Jack turn into a ***** tonight. He is saying oh dad Im so sorry I left the family. It sounded like he forgave daddy, I don't get it. And why did Dad just spill the beans like that for no good reason.

That's messed up

Jack still hasn't told anyone about his father yet. I guess he really didn't want to kill Jack or Josh. But he's still a bad guy. He had Jack's friends and co-workers killed. Not to mention Gram.
He kept talking about his company and how no ones life was worth more than what he built. I kept thinking about that South Park episode where the dirty cop said he could trust anyone not even himself. I almost expected Phillip to commit suicide to save his reputation.
And why did Dad just spill the beans like that for no good reason.
He's a patriot. Or he thinks he is. Maybe he has faith in Jack's abilities even though he called him a lowly "civil servant". Phillip probably didn't even hear half of Jack's apology.

this has got to be the best, stupid show on television.

I almost spit out my diet pepsi when Jack said "Dad?" after the guy has his own nephew under the gun.

I probably would've still killed Jack if I were Phillip. I was thinking, "There's nobody to stop him, and I doubt a few mushy words out of Jack's mouth are gonna change anything." And then, of course they do stop him.

And is it just me, or did anyone else find tonight's episode to be a bit "slow" compared to the last few weeks?

Ratings slid a little for "Heroes" on Monday night, but the show's 8.2 rating/12 share was still enough to keep it ahead of Fox's "24" for the third straight week.
"24" picked up a 7.9/12, closing the gap with NBC's genre show counterpart at the 9 p.m. timeslot, that helped lead Fox to a third place finish for the night with a 6.9/10, according to Fast National ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

"Heroes" did finish a half-rating point down from its previous week, and severely struggles against the pair of sitcoms CBS puts up against it in Monday timeslot. Both "Two and a Half Men" and "Rules of Engagement" finished ahead of "Heroes" with a 10.5/15 and an 8.9/13 respectively.

CBS finished first once again for the Monday night, led by "CSI: Miami" with a 9.2/14, followed by NBC with a 7.7/12, according to Zap2it. CBS also was king in the key 18-49 demographic with a 4.8 rating, slightly ahead of NBC's 4.5.

Did the local Fox news affiliate in anyone elses area run this story after the episode finished?
The interesting thing I got out of that - they have yet to shoot the last 8 episodes. I guess that makes sense, but since they're 10 hours into the show, I guess I would have thought more would have been shot already.

The new kindler, gentler Jack. It is his dad, though, regardless.

I was thinking the same thing when it was over. A little disappointed in this episode, but so it goes.

It takes 3 weeks to film one episode that doesn't take into account editing. And I believe they film 2 at a time.

So they have 12 weeks of shooting to do, and 14 weeks of episodes, barring any double episodes. Cutting it a little close, there. Just like Jack. ;)

If I heard correctly I believe the last episode of season 5 was finished in April.

It takes three weeks to shoot an episode, but editing takes place while the next episodes are being shot, so it's all overlapping. Since it's a very complex show to edit, there are three different editors that rotate among the episodes.

Hey look, at least Jack got to use one of his classic lines: "I'll explain everything as soon as I get there!" Not quite as good as "Who are you working for?!?!?"

It has been mentioned that the president paid "a high price" to free Jack from Chinese custody. Any guesses as to what that price might have been? I suspect we have not heard the last of that.

Now for an important question: Who else feels that Marilyn Bauer (played by actress Rena Sofer) Is, well, hot? Blue-eyed brunettes,,Win-Win! :D

Absolutely.

Except for the talent-poor Elisha Cuthbert, Rena Sofer is probably the hottest actress the show has ever had. Then again, blonds bore me easily.

Blasphemy! I'm a big fan of Elisha's back to the PMK days though.

Seriously, it's a tv show. There have been plenty of beautiful people on it.

Mia Kirshner
Stana Katic
Kate Mara

Those just come to mind. I'm sure there are more, and some I'll miss as tastes vary.

Edit:: Audrey was not hot.

What no love for Michelle Dessler? (Reiko Aylesworth) She's banging.

I don't understand how anyone can hate on Kim (Elisha Cuthbert). Who cares about her acting, she is gorgeous! (Thank you Canada and for hockey too :D )

I'm definitely an Elisha Cuthbert fan lol, I posted a desktop pic last month with her spanning the screen. One thing's for sure, she can span my screen anytime! ;) :D :p

Nadia does it for me :)
