Overall, CBS averaged an 8.1 rating/13 share, barely ahead of NBC's 8.0/13, though NBC averaged substantially more viewers. FOX was third with a 6.9/10, followed by the 5.1/8 for ABC and The CW's 1.3/2.
NBC won easily among adults 18-49, doing a 5.0 rating in the key demographic. FOX moved up to second with a 4.4 rating and CBS was down to third with a 3.9 rating. ABC's 3.0 rating was good for fourth, followed well back by The CW's fifth place 0.8 rating.
At 8 p.m., NBC got an 11.0/17 out of "Deal or No Deal," leaving FOX in a distant second with the 6.0/9 for "Prison Break." On CBS, "How I Met Your Mother" and the season finale of "The Class" averaged a 5.8/9 for third, beating ABC's "Wife Swap" and The CW's "Everybody Hates Chris" and "All of Us."
"Heroes" did an 8.5/13 for NBC, beating CBS' "Two and a Half Men" and "Rules of Engagement" in total viewers, but not in ratings, where CBS had an 8.9/13. FOX was third with "24," while ABC's "Supernanny" had a 6.4/9 for fourth. The CW's repeats of "Girlfriends" and "The Game" were fifth.
CBS won at 10 p.m. with the 9.6/17 for a "CSI: Miami" repeat. NBC's second week of "The Black Donnellys" was down to a 4.5/8, still outdoing "What About Brian" on ABC.
