If I were Morris, I'd have to accept the fact that I'm gonna die either way. I wouldn't help those dirty ^%$#ing terrorists even if my life depended on it. So if I didn't comply, they'd kill me, and if I fixed the bombs, they'd probably kill me (as they'd have no further use for me), and if they didn't kill me, I couldn't live with myself knowing I allowed half the country to be nuked, so I'd kill myself.

If I were Morris I would have floored it out of there as soon as I got the call that it was a setup.

Morris heard the phone call. He knows Fyed is mad at underling-guy because he is having trouble finding a suitable engineer. He knows underling-guy is really concerned about the money he is about to make for delivering said engineer.

Therefore, underling-guy is in no position to kill Morris, and the threat of the gun pointing at him is meaningless...

I think we will see Chloe and Morris as a team in the field.

holy crap, i just saw last nights episode... where do i begin. Why is Jacks dad and brother doing this to him? I had a feeling jacks dad would kill him when he needed a minute with him, but i had no clue they are still working for each other. I thought Morris and his brother in the hospital was a set up and i thought he was dirty, but i guess not. I wonder what will happen to him. I can't wait for next week episodeS- two hours :D

Can anyone explain how Morris & Chloe can find anyone anywhere via satellite or whatnot, but could not find out if Morris's brother was in fact in the hospital or not?

Just curious, love the show. Except that the medics, in effort to help Graem recouperate, would have moved him to a couch and certainly would have removed the lethal IV.

Has anyone else just started watching 24 this season? I had no interest in it before, but the hype attracted me to it, and now I'm hooked!

Ratings:

"Heroes" earned an 8.6 rating/12 share in Nielsen Media Research Fast Nationals, beating out the 8.1/12 earned by "24" to take second place in the 9 p.m. hour. Unfortunately, it was CBS in control overall with sitcoms "Two and a Half Men" and "Rules of Engagement," which earned 11.3/16 and 9.8/14 respectively to win the hour, according to Zap2it.

"Heroes" also remained a darling of adults 18-49, a key audience demographic, winning the hour despite the power of CBS' sitcoms. "Heroes" was up 0.3 of a ratings point for the hour while "24" slipped 0.4 of a ratings point.

CBS ended up the overall winner of adults 18-49, however, getting a 5.0 rating, but NBC was close behind with a 4.8. For the night, CBS was crowned the winner with a 9.6/15 followed by NBC at 8.0/12. Fox had a 7.0/10 while ABC and The CW finished with a 5.4/8 and 1.9/3 respectively.

Jack's Dad will get caught for murdering his other son.As soon as they do an autopsy they will know the Dad's hand was smothering his son's mouth. So this actor will be gone soon.

re: Morris,

It's called suspense!! everybody knows Morris should have taken off ASAP.Hell,he works for CTU!!..

I agree.Chloe will go under cover for Morris.

Episode 7

Wow. Through that entire episode I was thinking "please, please don't make jack's father evil too", with every minute making it so much more obvious. I was 100% sure that Jack's dad would either break Grey(that's what they call him) out of there, or kill him as soon as jack went off in a helicopter. :(
Also Chloe made Morris agree to stay, and all of a sudden he pisses off... Just when they found the photo. What a coincidence :p

12:00-1:00 p.m.

I don't care what you have in your ear, or who you can try to talk into committing suicide, Graem is still an idiot.

Jack has been a pain in his side for years and has shown an almost unprecedented ability to survive when put into tough situations. So Graem catches Jack, has a man with a gun to Jack's head and then lets his minions take Jack away to presumably kill Jack. It's the classic bad guy folly. If 24 really wanted to be revolutionary and force people to talk, Graem should have killed Jack as soon as he took Jack's gun...

But now we get to see Jack kick the minion's arses and go medieval on his brother...

Well, wrong again...I would not have guessed that Phillip was the head of the mess, until about halfway through this episode...

Oh gee, sorry about that. I made a suggestion about spoilers here. Seeing as we can't put the episode number in the title (taking a whole 5 seconds  ) to benefit those who live in OTHER COUNTRIES (yes, there are places other than america  ), who's episodes may be a week or two behind. It was that attitude that made me not take 5 seconds to put it in white and write "spoiler".
/vent.
Thankyou.
Btw, I was going to go back and edit those spoilers out, but the ones who complained about them being there quoted them. If you don't want them, why repost them?
Sorry for putting more in, but my point was that it doesn't affect the movie, it's a cheesy ending anyway.

*I will be back on topic now*

This thread is about the current season of 24, the entire thing is about spoilers for 24 and only 24, it's not unreasonable to assume that any post made after 2:00 a.m. Tuesdays (GMT) will contain spoilers about this weeks episode in the states. If you don't want the spoilers don't read posts after that time for a given week. We realize there are other countries and yes they get some shows later but take a look at the Official Doctor Who thread and you'll see that we are not immune to shows running later here. The US is about 6-12 months behind on Who and yet spoilers are in that thread. Due to one of the more prolific posters on the topic having a slightly delayed viewing due to the means of obtaining the show the participants opted put spoilers in white but that was their choice and an agreement by all. If you can manage to convince everyone else to cover the spoilers I'll gladly do it but I don't see that happening with a show like 24. I won't complain about the Departed spoilers since I won't end up seeing it until everything has been spoiled anyway, kids have a way of pre-empting movie going to anything other than 'G' rated films...

It's G-R-A-E-M!!!!! Graem! It's such a bad name though lol (Sorry to those out there named Graham or along the ilks of it)

Yes it is G-R-A-E-M

link to the Fox episode guide and synopsis. (May contain spoilers).

Now that the Man from G.R.A.E.M is dead, isn't Jack next in line to inherit papa's company? Do you think he's still in the will?

If so, he can off pops and take over the corporation. Unless there a clause in the will forbidding patricide or something.

The company more likely has a clause stating that its head must do illegal and manipulative things that seem to serve the country, in the mind of the person doing it, and must be willing to hurt and kill in the course of accomplishing this, in which case I don't know if Jack would quali... wait, never mind, he'd fit right in! ;) :D

Yeah, kind of a double standard, if you think about it...

If there's killing or "interrogation" involved, it's like Jack's own personal heaven.

I'd like to see that gorgeous little Canuck back on the show... Elisha Cuthbert (aka Kim Bauer). Not for acting purposes, just to stare at when there's a brief (keyword) lull in the action.

Maybe they could have Jack pull out a photo of her and stare at it for a while. :D

Thanks for being reasonable about it :)

I will continue to put "episode x" in the title in my posts, not just for spoilers, but so you know what episode I'm talking about, etc.

holy crap what an intense two hours... i don't understand why she didn't tell jack the situation.... he would have worked out a plan....
Jacks family is really messed up ;) If jack didn't join the military do u think instead of working for CTU he would be causing all of this drama?

They probably had a serious relationship (might've even been married) that ended on really bad terms (or something), which is what probably happened 20 years ago. Now why do I have this strange feeling that the leftover pieces from that relationship are going to somehow have an effect on whether another nuke goes off?

The one thing i dont care for is that it seems like every season it gets more and more unrealistic as the writers struggle to pull a season of writing out of their hindquarters. Don't get me wrong, i love the show and it is 1 of the 4 only show i watch on a regular basis but its just head shaking at times.

Example, with all the surveliance and snooping of phone calls they can't tell or intercept when jacks dad is on the phone WHILE IN CTU? Another thing that bugged me is that they basically gave him free reign with no guard, with how secretive the operation is supposedly i can't see him being allowed in, let alone allowed in with no escort or without stripping him of communication devices. Heck i cant even walk in to my local govt. office here without surrendering my phone because it has a camera on it.

I guess they have to do certain things to keep with the plot, but at times it gets a bit far fetched.

I still like the show, and i will continue watching, just a bit of a rant. Keep up on the spoliers, yesterday you guys on the east coast were lagging :p
