27" Cinema Display is now up!

Apple KOP (near Philly) has one in store for demo and says they will have them in stock and for sale by Saturday...
Just picked 1 up from an apple store, love it! Just calibrated it, colors are awesome. quite a bit bigger than my 24" ACD.

I have mine here now.
I'm going to setup a 24" LED ACD next to it for pics.
Just a couple of quick observations...
The cord is super short like the old model. Right at 44 inches from the back of the display. They have changed the magsafe connector as well, and it doesn't come with a cover like the old model.
The screen is black all the way to the edge, where as the old one had an aluminum band around the glass.

OK, now I'm really pissed that I ordered it online and have to wait for it to get here. I assumed I would have it before it hit the stores. Oh well.
I would do that but as you can probably tell my desk doesn't fit both!
yup i noticed that, i have no idea where the cover went though, prolly in the bottom of the box somewhere
I like it either way, but the 27" is like the iMac, glass all the way to the edge.
Have you noticed the screen is pretty sticky? Dusts are hard to get off, prolly coz it's new. LOL
lol, that's why i didn't order online, costs the same as stores so might as well get from store. would've been a bit cheaper if i get from macconnetion though, f CA and ~10% tax and recycling fees or whatever they call it.
Just got my shipping conf email. It will be here tomorrow by 3pm. Also, the Christiana mall in Newark DE has them in stock!!! Tax free.

Very nice, are you keeping both?
I have the Atlona connected to my PC and it works great! The only caution is to have the mac booted up BEFORE you power up the PC otherwise the Atlona defaults to 1920x1200 and have to reboot the PC to get back to full 2560x1440.
I also have the Plugable USB2 UGA adapter going from my iMac 27 to my HP ZR24W. Full Dual Screen, both directions. When I'm PCing, dual display rocks using Atlona, and when I'm iMACing, dual display rocks using Plugable!

Seconding this, I have a feeling I'm not going to be able to afford to miss the delivery of this, its coming with a wireless keyboard, magic mouse and battery charger...
The Post Office Depot is the other side of the city and I don't have a car, nearest bus is the city centre.
In that previous pic, it does look as if the 27" has a yellow tint, in comparison to the 24". Muy interesante.

I have a 24" right now, considering a 27" in a couple months, or possibly another 24"?
What's worse is mine is still saying "Shipping Information Received" on the UPS tracking site.
I don't mind waiting a little longer, but at least tell me where the hell my package is, it's been 24 hours!
