I am seriously going to choke a bitch soon. So, when I realized my iMac was going to be shipped to me a week early (when the box arrived in Louisville), I contacted UPS to change the delivery address to my office. They said they cannot change it, you have to contact Apple.
On Monday I contact Apple to change the delivery address. They make a change, and I get an automated email notification that the delivery address has been updated on my order and that the change was sent to UPS.
I wake up Tuesday morning and the iMac is "Out for Delivery" on a UPS truck, but the tracking indicates it still has my home address. Of course, I miss the first attempt.
Today, I contact UPS again to have them change the address. Nope. They're not going to change it. They said to contact Apple. So, I contact Apple. Nope, they say to speak with UPS. Now it is just a whole bunch of pointing fingers. Well, my iMac is "Out for Delivery" again... still to my home address.
I contact UPS again. They offer me a way to change my address: UPS My Choice. So, I look into that. Really UPS, you want me to pay $5.00 to reroute my package? FedEx Express and Ground do that for free. They even have locations nearby to hold it at. Oh, I guess I could pay the yearly $40 fee to be a subscribed member, just to change an address.
Damn UPS, really?
So pissed right now. I am probably going to need to leave the office just to get it. If I miss the delivery attempts, the nearest UPS "hold" location is 30 miles away from me. FML.
