hey guys many of ordered Imacs of the first 4 days aren't even out for shipping, so be patient
I am an 11/30er. My machine left China on Monday at 5:53pm and is out for delivery today here in St. Louis at 7:34am. Wow! When they get on it, they really get on it. Yeah, I know. It isn't inside my door yet. Still!

Still preparing for shipment at 41 hours (not that I'm counting). So I'm pretty skeptical that it will arrive on Friday. I sure wish it would, though. It's not showing up on My Support Profile yet, so I don't know how close it is to going out. I thought people were having theirs show up in the preparing for shipment stage.
Just posting back and hoping all the people that ordered in the first few hours will have their iMacs by the end of the week. The good news is most of them seem to be in perfect condition, especially screen wise. It is worth the wait guys!!!

I ordered online (cc purchase), on the day after they were available, bto with just the 3tb fusion drive as the only modification. On 19dec12 an email finally arrived, at 5:30 my time, letting me know that my 27" iMac was finally shipping! Today, I checked the tracking number and found an "exception" notice -
Shanghai, China 12/19/2012 11:41 P.M. Shipper tendered the shipment to UPS after the latest pickup time for the requested service. A day delay is likely.

My 3T Fusion 27in tripped out imac preloaded with pages ordered 11AM MTN time on Nov 30th was originally scheduled for delivery dec 28 - jan 3 or something like that. Then i upgraded to express delivery which bumped it up 3 days. When apple changed from processing the order to preparing for shipment Apple estimated a Dec 20 delivery. Fedex, once the tracking number was established, estimated the delivery date for today Dec 19th. It was a big surprised to wake up yesterday to find it was on the truck for delivery a day early. It was easy to unpack was in pristine condition and i'm loving it. The only little thing is, i'm not an audiophile by any means, but when playing music it sounds like it's coming from a tin can. I guess it is a giant tin can so to speak but didn't want the tunes to sound that way. If you are into playing your tunes on an iMac you may want to start looking for some 3rd party speakers. Overall a sweet machine! Hope you guys are unpacking yours as well. Merry Christmas.

Congrats Milk18! I hope mine makes it that fast. Just left China yesterday. We will see.
The good news is that if you wake up tomorrow morning and it has shipped (i know that's a big IF), you still have a good chance of it arriving Friday. Mine shipped out Monday and arrived 9:30 am Tuesday. I almost missed it since i wasn't expecting it that quickly. Good luck!

There are people in the states that ordered earlier than that still processing.
That stinks. Mine was in preparing for shipment stage for less than 12 hours.. Shipped out on Friday and delivered on Monday morning. Something seems fishy
It seems like on average the iMacs were in the preparing for shipment stage for a shorter period last week. That stage seems to be lasting longer this week. I'm at 42 hours now - just hoping it ships before I hit 48.
My tracking info is Identical to yours. Hopefully UPS does pull through and delivers tomorrow.

my expedited delivery was between Dec 31st - Jan 4th.

Estimated Delivery Date when I placed the order was 28 Dec to 4 Jan. Changed to Delivery by Dec 21 when it shipped on the 14th, and got delivered today (by TNT) on the 19th, so good news all the way.
