27" Delivery time thread.

LOL, I feel your pain. This wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't happening smack in the middle of christmas. It's a crap shoot whether or not I'll be at home when it's delivered. If it ships soon, I'll most likely be home. If it's not going to ship soon I need to change the shipping address to where I'll be for the holidays.
Yesterday shipments to US
Today shipments to Australia
Tomorrow Shipments to.... Europe
Now I'm starting to believe this....
Mine is still processing, but I'm also in Europe.. I really hope that it soon changes to "Preparing for shipment", so I at least know that something is happening.

I ordered my BTO around noon PST.
An hour or two later I called Apple and had them change my setup a bit, while keeping it on the same order number. My estimate is Dec 31-Jan 7.
Interestingly, however, a pending transaction came through on my card December 8th for the price of the original iMac I ordered. As of today, however, that original price still shows, but my available balance reflects exactly what would be left after the updated iMac order went through.
That probably means nothing, but when all there is only straws to grasp at, I might as well start grasping.

My card was charged in full this morning (about 5 hours ago) but it still says processing items on the apple store

I'm one of the ones who bought within ten minutes after midnight Nov. 30. Funds pending from CC as of Monday AM but still PROCESSING status.

I asked for faster shipping but they told me that for my area, it is not available. I live in Quebec, Canada. So delivery date scheduled for dec 27 - jan 3.

I just noticed something weird, looking at my delivery method (which a rep said she sped up the shipping time when I called the next day) after 2-3 Business days it says (excl.gift cards) - Free
I've been watching it like a hawk and I know for sure that wasn't there earlier today. Is that my "expedited" or quicker shipping now noted? Hopefully it means itll get prepared for shipment soon...wishful thinking.

Yes I have and I never contacted Apple. Original delivery estimate was 12/24 - 12/31.
Received shipping notice yesterday however it is still sitting in China. Doesn't appear UPS has any flights currently scheduled to leave today.

Anyone from Canada get updated to "Preparing for Shipment"?...ordered my 27" around 5 AM EST on the 30th and am still waiting for a status change...Called Apple yesterday to inquire on the timing of the delivery, was "upgraded" to Expedited Delivery and my estimated receive day moved up to now be between 21-31/DEC. Same message as some others have posted showed up as well after the call "Delivers 21 Dec - 31 Dec via Expedited Shipping (excl. gift cards) - Free"

my initial ship dates were from 19th dec to 24th dec.
after my card cleared for installment payment after the weekend, they shifted it to the 26th dec - 2nd jan.
and now my order is still processing, and best part....they just charged me on the 10th of DEC for the first instalment.....and i dont even have the mac yet...should i be mad?
