I literally just joined this forum site to let everyone know that my order entered at 12:03 on the 30th of November just changed status to preparing for shipment to Canada.

Just curious what time was the order or confirmation email? Ordering started earlier than midnight.
So my order switched to "preparing for shipment" late last night (thank god!). For those who have already been through the process, how long did it take to get the "now shipping" status with a tracking number?
I'm really hoping to get mine before the 23rd when I leave town for the holidays. Otherwise I'll have to arrange for someone to accept delivery at my house!

Can't remember what time I started the order, but I got the confirmation email Nov 30 at 12:08am PST.
Ordered the very basic $1799 27" with no configuration. Shipping to Vancouver, Canada. Delivery date was Dec 24-Jan 3 (but called Apple and expedited to Dec 21 to 31).
Still processing.
Well, for me the ordering went live at around 2:57am EST (I'm in Canada) and I ordered as quickly as humanly possible -right down to the fact that I ordered the basic 27" system with no additional items etc and checked out immediately. It took me 2-3 minutes maximum to complete my order.
I received the actual confirmation email with a time stamp of 3:05am EST.
Mine was about 13 hours. I would expect that they are shipping out daily, so 24 hours would probably be the max.
To let you know it's still there. Would you rather them not update your tracking at all unless it moves somewhere?

took mine about 12 hours... shipped out early this morning but sitting in Shanghai since then
