Not in my case. With or without glasses (even sunglasses), FaceID works well for me.
I was smart and setup with and without glasses. Simple.

"I wish Apple would give us another option beside (insert anything here)" is also an acceptable answer.

Dropbox doesn't integrate anything like iCloud.

If you are just using apple devices, but add anything else to the mix and dropbox beats it.

Guess what, Apple themselves said it's far superior to TouchId, they ALSO said it's not 100% failsafe, don't know the exact numbers but Apple themselves said something like 1 in a million while TouchId was 1 in 50,000.

And selling your soul to Google. Don’t forget that.

And then there's this, plain evil....

Would have been nice for them to test out the mate 20 pro which is supposed to have facial recognition which uses the same technology as Face ID.

They possibly did test the Mate 20 Pro but didn't like the result :)

Certainly Samsung make it clear that the face recognition is not secure, just convenient. If I used it, I wouldn't be worried about someone being able to take a 3D image of me using a dome of 50 cameras without me knowing about it. And then spending £300 making a bust of my head to sneak access to my phone.
Remember FaceID can be fooled by an identical twin who could easily borrow the phone to shop at M&S :)

Am I the only one that solely uses a passcode still? Pretty sure the average user doesn't have anything to worry about. If you're involved in some larger criminal investigation, I could see them going to these lengths to get access to a phone.

Got a credible citation on the fooled and “easily” borrowed part on the Xs or Xs max?

AirPods work with android devices but they are no different to any other Bluetooth headphones. The W1 chip features don’t work.
They poorer than lots of other BT headphones which have lower audio latency.

I would think many identical twins can easily borrow their siblings phone. What has model of phone got to do with it?

Not to mention paying a premium phone price while also allowing Google to make further money selling your data.

Until the Pixel reflects a steep discount to compensate for the amount they are making off my data, there's no way I'm paying that much for a Pixel.

Paid fake news. In addition to Face ID being defeated by mask it also has a false positive issue where it allows unrelated people to unlock your iPhone. Touch ID is more secure.

There tons of these on YouTube if you search for "Face ID fail".

Youtube is anecdotal. The videos can be edited to show anything. Ymmv and people can believe what they want.

They should program the facial recognition software to look for familiar features AND to detect natural movement that would be absent for a replica -- blinking, changes to the size of the iris, small muscle twitches, etc. That would make fooling it much more difficult, I think.

I am not an expert, of course. Just thinking out loud here.

You still gave me the answer with “I think”. Throwing ad-Homs is so cute.
I said, "I would think". Are you of the opinion that identical twins, or any siblings or close family members, cannot easily borrow each others phones. Certainly those that live in the same house or see each other regularly.

Face ID isn't perfect. I'm 4 years younger than my brother and my face unlocks his phone every time. We look alike, but not that much
And is it possible for you to borrow your brother's phone?
