I placed my order exactly 3 minutes after pre-order started (have receipt dated 12:04 to prove it), and if my watch hasn't shipped by Friday next week then I will cancel the order and buy a Nexus 6 + AndroidWear watch. That's not a threat, it's a fact.

I have given Apple too much money over the years to be screwed around like this.

Lmao

What model did you order?

Black 42mm sport.

Lol. Throwing your toys out the pram because you were 3 minutes after THOUSANDS of people is your fault, not apples.

Either way, it's your loss. We get ours quicker.

I expect that when I pre-order a product 3 minutes after it goes on sale then I'll get one on launch day. If Apple doesn't meet my expectations then I'll give my money to a company that will.

I'm sure they are truly devastated. This will likely mean bankruptcy for Apple now.

42mm space gray sport?

Please do cancel. I'd like to move up in line.

Hmm, same thing here; about 3 minutes.

Difference is I don't care. Amusing is all it is.

Waiting for something totally unnecessary (it's not polio vaccine), is not a great burden.

Haha don't care. What a bs.
If you don't care, why where you dare at 00:01 to preorder?

Yes that's right. Because you care :p

No, I meant getting shafted in the blink of an eye.

You don't get it do you? If you get upset about something like this you've got a problem. Trust me.

Adults don't behave like this. Why? because they have to raise children and set an example (not to mention it's idiotic also :D), and life throws serious BS at you to which this in comparison, doesn't even exist.

I was awake at the time, and on the computer. If I wasn't staying up late anyway I would certainly NOT lose sleep staying awake to order buy the little toy for myself.

That kind of ridiculous self entitlement is hilarious, I have a receipt dated 00:02:05, but I still accept that there could have easily been thousands of people before me and I might not get it till the week after, say. A date range is just that; a range. You want to cancel your order, go right ahead, but your self righteous indignation is worth nothing. Suck it up.

See ya

Anyway, can we get back on topic of wishing that Apple will move our pre-order dates up? If everyone wishes real hard, we can change the universe.

Yes that's it. Utilize the collective psychic consciousness of mankind to speed up our orders.

Never mind those other things :)

I think the GTAT sapphire plant failure is showing another side effect. We assumed the sapphire was for the iPhone but we know the Watch has it. There is no doubt in my mind they wanted this release last holiday season. The 9 month wait was simply trying to play catch up.

With that being said, I have had a rough 3 days with wife having emergency surgery to remove her gall bladder on our 5 yr anniversary. It would be a nice surprise if it arrived much sooner like next Friday. ##

I'm still expecting to see some movement at the beginning of the week, when the first pre-orders start to ship. Maybe even get a shipping notification? :) (wishful thinking)

I ordered the 42mm Black Sport and got a confirmation email at 12:04am for May 13th - May 27th. I am fully expecting my watch to ship sooner than May 13th. I am really hoping that I get the watch on April 24th because I ordered 3 minutes after opening :(

I hate reading the negative comments in this thread about delivery dates. I want my April 24th wish to come true :)

Why is there a week between the two waves?

Don't think too much into it. Its 4-6 weeks to ship. 4 weeks from April 10th is actually May 8th. They're just saying it takes 3 business day for delivery with standard shipping. That's how the system came up with May 13th date.

Has any one seen movement on their CC, I think I read that some or the first wave saw pre-authorization on theirs.

No movement for me. I'll get an alert the instant my card is charged so I'll be sure to post. I'm in this group with the 42mm SG Sport.
