Really seems like they didn't have the Apple Watch 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel Case with Space Black Link Bracelet to be ready for launch day. Don't see anyone getting it on launch and I ordered day one with confirmation email received at 3:02 AM EST

I have a 3:01 AM EST conf and no movement. So yes it wasn't ready for launch, which is why it went live with a 4-6 week window.

If it's UPS, you can have them hold it for pickup and even re-route it. Not sure about Fedex however.
How long can UPS hold it at a pickup facility? I will also be away the first 3 days of the delivery window.

The sad thing about that is you can never tell if someone is telling the truth or not. I hope for all of our sakes that it is truth, but i guess time will tell. On that note though, at least one of my watches is preparing for shippment (my wifes that got the 4/24 timeline) mine however has seen no update...I am stuck in this may range :(

well looks like his is legit he posted a screenshot from his iphone showing proof of payment.

Seems like most everyone here posting made their order nice and early. I accidentally missed the alarm.

Ordered an Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Sport Band at 8:37AM and am still in the May 13-27th time frame. Curious if my order will indeed ship with everyone that actually got an order in near the 3AM mark.

Well shoot looks like I got up early for nuthin...ah well

Placed my order for a SG 42mm sport at 3:04am and landed in the may 13-27 bracket...I have a Gmail alert ding that rings on my PC everytime I get a new email...I get excited before it turns to disappointment when I check and its not from apple...lol...my non techie friends think I'm nuts

When you guys call someone a liar and you ultimately find out they were being honest...do you come back and apologize? Sheesh, with every launch someone who ends up having a legit claim ends up being reamed but I rarely if ever see an apology.

Yeah me too. In fact I hadn't even planned on purchasing until I woke up that morning. Thank goodness I was on the east coast that weekend instead of the west.

5 days.

Which could be photoshopped, or not his screen shot, or for an order that was never in the 4-6 week group.

I know right?! I always trust anonymous people on the Internet, especially when they are asking for my credit card number to send me a million dollars! :p

I was hoping I would get my Apple Watch on launch day, but it's looking less and less likely.

I ended up getting in the second wave for the iPhone 6+ (despite beginning my attempts to order it at 3:00am EST) and I am in the second wave for the Apple Watch.

I just hope it comes on May 13th and not the 27th.

The other 4-6 week thread is giving me hope that the estimate is ultra conservative and will improve soon.

Almost every Apple ship date is conservative. Even people who BTO in the middle of a product lifecycle have their shipping estimates beaten.

The amount of people here who think they're owed a watch in the first batch is incredible. Regardless of how quickly you ordered, your delivery estimate is May 13th-27th, so don't get your knickers in a twist unless the watch fails to arrive by May 27th.

Is it possible that due to cancellations, a few of us might see our orders early? Maybe. Or maybe not! Maybe Apple is shipping these things in waves, so if a watch is canceled in the first wave, it's held until the second wave is ready to ship.

I seem to recall a lot of talk about June orders being moved up, but we're not June orders. It's possible they're ramping up production for the end of May, but since we're in the middle of May, that doesn't affect us.

I want the watch as much as you guys do, but let's keep things in perspective. All Apple owes us is a watch by May 27th, but realistically they don't owe us that watch any earlier than May 13th. Given how clearly constrained the current supplies are, it seems unrealistic to be upset that we're not getting watches by Friday.

:eek::eek:Boooooo! We want our watches now! ;)

I (wrongly) consider myself in the first batch because I ordered my watch in 3 minutes and got stuck with a May 13th date. I want to believe that I am part of the first batch since I ordered so fast. Had I ordered at 8am and got this date, I probably would accept it.

Did your 6+ come earlier than expected?

Hit the nail on the head. Our deliveries are scheduled from May 13-27. We will get our watches then. Crazy getting upset that you aren't getting it sooner, when you ordered knowing you'd get it May 13-27.

They have a very good track record, they beat my 6+ estimate by quite a bit.

Earlier this month I ordered a BTO 2015 13" MacBook Pro (just upped the RAM) and got a delivery estimate of April 8-10 and it arrived on the 9th. Still pretty good.
