42 mm SS Milanese Loop 4/24 - 5/8 batch

It's the very vague email Apple sent to most 4/25 - 5/8 people, telling them they are working on your order and that they will notify you with an email when it is prepared for shipment. But in the meantime, go watch our newly posted tutorials on Apple Watch.
I've been playing on and off with my wife's 38mm Apple Sport Watch with White Sport Band since 4/24 which was ordered after mine as per the email confirmations, and I'm still waiting on my 42mm SS with Milanese Band that had a 3:08 confirmation although it was ordered at like 3:02am on AppleStore App on iPhone with Apple Pay using Visa. My wife's watch I was charged for last Monday, the charge fell off launch day eve, and came back as a charge again the 25th
There is just no rhyme nor reason why Apple decided to ship these watches this way. The torder imes have no meaning to those with varying models, sizes, or band types. There are even those that ordered similar models to us who still wait in processing hell, hours after we did, and they received them on 4/24.
Apple should have just allowed ordering with 3 color sport bands for the initial orders, then everyone could have received on launch day as previous Apple products, then afterward you could go in store or online and order replacement or extra bands. It makes no sense that we are left to feel that a 42mm SS with white band is any different a watch than one with a Milanese loop. They are exactly the same watch just different bands. Mind blown!

I had to register and post since this thread has helped me keep my sanity while waiting around aimlessly after taking the time to complete my pre-order at 12:07am PDT 4/10.
The site was down for the first few minutes, so I couldn't even order sooner or I definitely would have. I was on the site since 11:50pm. A very crappy launch indeed, but again these are first world problems so I tried not to sweat it when I didn't get it delivered on Friday. Funny thing is I was also supposed to pick up my Audi on Friday, and that wasn't ready either so 0/2 on that day.
I finally saw some action today. Order status details below:
42 SS ML to OC, California
- Order Completed at 12:07AM 4/10 PDT
- Order confirmation at 12:10
- EOD received Thursday Night
- Card Finally Charged at 2:15AM 4/27
- Order Status changed to Preparing For Shipment shortly after charge appeared
Not showing in UPS my choice yet so just waiting now.

Hang in there. They are shipping them as fast as they can attach the bands! I have a feeling that's what's really holding most folks up.
