Looking at their coverage map, they show a very well covered map labeled "No Android" and a significantly smaller coverage map labeled "Android". Which one applies to iPhone?

Also, does ST have access to AT&T's LTE network?

Just curious, how many people leave the "HOME" icon on their iPhone and how many people change it to something else.

I guess I have a couple questions.

If someone has an account via Straight Talk, and since it is an ATT MVNO, does it count as "free" unlimited mobil to mobil to ATT customers? I wouldn't want to force someone else to have to use more minutes.

And someone who already has an LTE compatible phone (not iPhone yet) know whether LTE is supported with this plan?

I don't think it would really save me money, since I'll be wanting to upgrade my iPhone 4 to the new one released this year. And assuming the existing $450 subsidy, and my current plan (only need $5 text plan), it would take me somewhere between 22 and 25 months to make up the subsidy. But if ATT either forces a plan change, or drops the subsidy, it may make it more worthwhile to me.

Also considering in-law who needs a better plan than his existing prepaid plan. If he was willing to use an older phone (either my current 4, or the even older 3G), it would definitely be cheaper to get into a smartphone that way. He is now on the road a LOT, and a phone that could access the web and do mail would be a big help.

Does Verizon have any mvnos? I know this is a ATT thread... Buy I want to get my next iPhone on some kind of prepaid plan. It's not worth it any more to stay with AT&T
Thanks

Can you restore your iPhone on Straight Talk if you have to or will it mess up everything?

Just ordered my sim card today & I'm ready for the switch. I've been on red pocket mobile for about 4 months with really good data speeds & coverage. But since they switched there plan from 2gb unlimited to 1gb I think it's time to go. I've been reading through this thread for awhile & Straight Talk seems like there pretty good. I'll update once I get my 4s up & running with the new service. Thanks guys

Good decision iphone4champ you will really like ST. I have been with them for a while now and I have no regrets until this date for having left AT&T postpaid. Don't forget to do the MMS fix in order for MMS to work unless you're jailbroken and have tetherme installed.

Sucks red pocket recently downgradedtheir 2GB to just 1GB.

Data speed are ok, just fine. I'm able to stream HD YouTube videos with out any lag or buffering so you'll like it. I'm sure all that 4G LTE stuff out there is faster, but you have to pay more.

You'll be just fine on ST's 3G speeds :)

Why the heck did they do that? It seems backwards... especially since AT&T has bumped theirs up to 3 GB (I think).

My 4S was bought factory unlocked, not factory but an AT&T version when Apple was selling them as "device only", but is the same thing as factory unlocked.

Are you serious

What I meant is, you said RedPocket had unlimited minutes and MMS, which is the same as Straight Talk. The cheapest RedPocket plan with unlimited minutes was $40, which is the same price as Straight Talk if you pay quarterly.

No contract with RedPocket? Exact same on Straight Talk.

So... how at the unlimited tier, how is RedPocket better? Especially because their "unlimited" data is soft-capped at 1 GB? And both networks are AT&T MVNOs, so the coverage is the same.

I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. Maybe I misunderstand.
