iPod touch 4th Generation iPod touch feature list.

If there were a 128GB iPod touch, it would have 2 64GB chips inside it.
However, I agree it won't happen. This is the year Apple won't double capacity.

this is how i think its gonna be:
new shape, like the iphone 4
retina display
camera 5mp flash led
NO front facing camera
different colors (nano's one)
higher battery life
microphone
16,32 and 64GB storage

Exactly what i think. i doubt there's gonna be a front facing camera - personally i dont see the point.

A front camera could be a huge selling point. Giving teens a video chat option while in wifi would be a big thing. Although it does open up the doors for creeps to enter the picture. This won't end like chat roulette I hope.

Nah it wont, face time works in the same way as a video call as opposed to a chat room. Although we'll probably get few chat room apps but like they did with chat roulette, apple can pull them from the app store if there is any problems.

I think Apple will also add a 3G version of the Touch to the line and combine that with iTunes.com or whatever they will call their music streaming service. I doubt, however, that we will see a camera in this iteration of the iPod Touch. I would also doubt that there will be color options beyond black or white due to manufacturing issues with the white iPhone 4.

Why are some people obsessed with a 3g version of the iPod Touch? There will be no 3g version, if you want an iPod Touch with 3g buy an iPhone!
A cut in screen size if true means no retina resolution. The res will stay at 320x480 and the half inch drop will make it a little crisper than before.
I hope everyone realizes that the iPod touch takes after the iPhone, and has since the first one. So, why wouldn't the new touch have two cameras and a retina display and all the things that the iPhone 4 just got?
It only makes sense for Apple to give us two cameras for FaceTime and a retina display because they want to make it the standard.
Also, no 3G will be added - that's what the iPhone or iPad 3G is for.

Ive been waiting to get an Ipod Touch for a long time now and I finally saved up enough to get the 64gb model but all these rumors of the 4th gen are confusing me
Should I wait for the 4th gen, cause i really want a camera but if its not rear facing that will kill it for me... Can anyone give me advice?

WAIT for the 4th gen. It will only be 2-3 weeks. The 4th gen will bring MANY amazing new features, I can practically guarantee it. Surely worth the short wait.
The iPhone has always had at least one camera, but the 3 generations of iPod Touches never had one, so there's always the possibility that the 4th Gen wont have one either...but considering everyone was upset when the 3rd Gen didn't have one(yet they put a video camera in the NANO), I think they'll be smart this time and add one, especially if they don't want to lose out on lots of potential customers
Its most likely going to have a front facetime camera, however the rear camera is up in the air, but I say there is a very good chance. The thing is there are a lot of apps that use the camera (which is probably why people were so upset last time around), so the touch really needs one, and not just a front one, both front and rear ones. They lost me last year because of the camera thing, because I was all ready to buy if it had one. I don't own any other apple products, so they have me this year as a new customer if they release a touch with a rear camera which is what I really want.

Glad to see it actually having a camera... if that's real. So there's only one front camera?
Well thats only a picture of the front panel, until now they havent released a picture of the back panel.. I guess they want to keep the rear camera a surprise if there is one

I don't see the point of having only a front camera. I suppose they will include both or none.
