That assumes that there will be an "s cycle" this time around. Next year is the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. It seems like good opportunity to shake up the lineup a little bit.If this is in the 7s cycle in 2017.
It would mean we could get a 5.8 inch ips model this year. iPhone pro?
This paves the way of a 4.7 inch iPhone 7 and 5.2 inch iPhone 7+ .I will definitely get the 7+ then!
Yes, true..That assumes that there will be an "s cycle" this time around. Next year is the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. It seems like good opportunity to shake up the lineup a little bit.
The two-year cycle made sense when people had to sign two-year contracts to buy an iPhone.
Thank God for a true innovator like Samsung pushing tech and innovation to the limits. Otherwise this industry would be stuck with a 3.5 inch rectangle with rounded corners, and 720P resolution. How innovating!
So basically what this is saying is in 1-2 years we'll have:
iPhone se, bad specs, many features missing
iPhone, normal specs, features missing
iPhone + normal specs, few features missing
iPhone pro: good specs
Rip 4-4.7 phone users
So how do you hold it horizontally?

Ok, I' ll bite. Now where are those members who were getting headaches in OLED and stating LCD to be superior?

Apple seems to be copying Samsung literally every inch of the way.Sammy is the true innovator here otherwise we would be stuck with LCD
They could reduce it by making a touchid bezel on the lower bezel, instead of a bigger button. Just a small strip. Or they could integrate it in the screenEasier said than done. Apple is deeply tied to Touch ID technology which requires a sizable home button
Yeah, like..... eliminate all four of them.....5,8 Inches in the same form factor of the 6s Plus would be perfect. They just have to slim down the top and bottom bezels.
