Carrier 5S order through AT&T not shipping until 10/21?

I also ordered it at 12:00am and says the same. Ships in 1 to 3 days, and arrives between 9/29 and 10/2
 
Why why why anyone orders from anyplace other than Apple amazes me. They never have enough iPhones manufactured to meet the demand at launch. And most of what they do have, they obviously keep for themselves.

Do yourselves a favor and order from Apple next time.

Sorry and hope u get your phones when they originally promised.

A lot of people have business accounts and are required to order through AT&T's Premier site. It sucks. I had to do it this year unfortunately. The experience of preordering on Apple's site last year was much better.

There are reasons why.

I ordered from AT&T because they pulled my eligibility ahead for me and my wife, which could only be done ordering from them over the phone, thus saving me $500. Pretty good reason.

Exactly. We order from ATT because we have to.

Having said that, my 16g Silver just went from 10/21 estimate to Shipped!

Same. The premier site never worked for me, but I ordered the phone this morning via the Premier Business Line with a person.

My card got charged and it says "Preparing to Ship." I have a strong feeling that if we got charged and it says this that we are getting them way sooner than the seemingly-placeholder "10/21" ship date.
 
i walked in to AT&T and the order was put in for a 16Gb Gold 5s. The rep told me it would be shipped in 3-5 days. Im really hoping he was right. This was around 4:30 PM. Still no confirmation email.

Do yourself a favor and read before posting nonsense. Some of us do because we have to. Why you ask? Read.
 
I was in the same boat as you guys. I ordered the 5s 16GB Silver about 5 minutes before 3am ET (i was spamming the page to buy the phone as soon as possible). When I got the confirmation that my order has been placed, it said it would deliver in late October (4-5 weeks).

I received an email saying the phone has been shipped 30 minutes ago with a working tracking number (only one state away). I'm sure most of you who ordered around the same time I did (early morning) will get their email soon too. For what it's worth, I ordered through Premier.

I tried to order from Apple many many many times and each time got the error that there was "something wrong" with my AT&T account (and yes, my bill was paid. Lol.) By the time I finally gave up on them and ordered through AT&T (0314 EDT), my ship date was pushed out to 10/21-30. Sigh.

ETA: I ordered a 64GB in gold, FWIW.

Well if you guys who ordered at 3am is having such success those of us who order later in the morning (8am for me) we're probably looking at 1-2 weeks delivery. That would be awesome if so!
 
I just ordered the a gold 16GB 5s at an AT&T store. That was around 430PM. The guy told me it should ship in 3-5 days. Really dont believe that. Really hoping he was right. Still havent gotten the confirmation email.

Does anyone know if you have to sign for an iphone delivery?

The times I have ordered from AT&T it wasn't required but is required if you order from Apple.

My FedEx tracking info doesn't show that a signature is required.

The one time I ordered from AT&T (for the 3GS), no signature was required. In fact, the delivery guy just threw the 2 phones onto the porch and never so much as rang the bell. Thank goodness I had them delivered to my parents' house, which was in an extremely rural area; otherwise, those suckers would've been gone.

Same exact situation here. I actually called AT&T and tried to ask why I kept getting that error on the Apple site last night. I got no answer. 64GB gold also.

Have any 64GB gold models shipped from AT&T yet? I'm afraid that they'll be shipping silver and space grey and the gold orders will get stuck waiting awhile.
 
I ordered from AT&T Premier Friday morning at 11EST, and got a notification saying it was shipped Friday afternoon and will be at my door Monday afternoon.

5s Silver 16GB.

So, I think I lucked out. Compared to everyone else who ordered from Apple.
 
It seems all of you that got shipping emails were 16GB versions.

My 32GB silver is still preparing for shipment :mad:
