Carrier 5S order through AT&T not shipping until 10/21?

My 5s 16gb Silver and 32gb gray will be here Monday. My order was placed 5 minutes before the official time.
 
Estimated Shipping dates could be wrong. Mine is. I just got a email that my wife's phone will ship some time between 9/18-9/19. Hmmmm.....
 
What does it mean If it says preparing to ship, and various sim says back ordered?
 
Just got my order confirmation. Says the phone is preparing to ship and the various sim is on back order. I have an estimated date of 10/10-1029. :(
 
I ordered with AT&T over the phone yesterday around noon, they moved my eligibility so I could upgrade to a 32Gb 5S at $299, csr told me over the phone that phone will ship between 9/25 - 9/27. Last night phone was getting ready to ship, and now this morning order status says that it will ship 10/21/13 - 10/30/13, Status: Back-ordered. I really hope it ships before.

I just got an email that my phone has been shipped!! I AT&T hasn't updated yet but I have a tracking number for UPS. On att it says its shipping date is 10/21-10/31. So happy. So there is hope for everyone in the same situation.
 
Up until yesterday my shipping dates have been 10/1 to 10/30 with the SIMM back ordered. This morning the SIMM is processing but ship dates remain the same.
 
I'm assuming it will convert to shipping soon but who knows. I ordered at 3am but had a CC issue that I had to fix in the morning. I thought I might have gotten thrown to the end of the line but it seems like it's on track.
 
My order originally had 10/21-10/30.
As of this morning it shows
processing pending shipment 9/21 both sim and phone
32gig gray.

I ordered a 32GB silver 5S through AT&T soon after the site went live. My order has shipped and I have a FedEX tracking number. Scheduled delivery is Monday and the phone is about 45 minutes from me.
 
My 64gb silver ordered at 12:25A still shows a ship date in late October. Not amused. The original range when I placed the order was 7-14 days.
 
I wouldn't put ANY stock in those dates on the order status page. My 32GB Space Gray went from 10/21-10/30 yesterday afternoon to shipped with a FedEx tracking number this morning.
 
64gb silver says preparing to ship. Eta still says end of October. Various sim says 'processing'. Ordered Friday morning at 10am through premier. I'm sure it will be here next week at some point. It's the same bs tracking system like every other past release.
 
My order has shipped today with UPS tracking number. I ordered it through att site around 3:10 EST. Initial estimated shipping date : 10/1/2013 - 10/30/2013

Just got my ship notice too. Arrives by Monday via FedEx.

Like others - original estimate was 10/21. Then they moved it up to 10/1. And now it's on the way. Lol. Great news to wake up to.
 
Looks like there is little demand for 16GB so those are being able to get out soon. Apple needs to realize that they need to make more of the larger models going forward.

Ordered at 12:12am, had the same notice everyone was getting with shipping expected 10/21.

Mine has already shipped from TN and this morning it's already in my local sorting facility. (ordered through Premier). It was shipped by Fedex standard overnight, arrives Monday.
 
I shouldn't have read this thread. Now I'm sad mine is still "processing" with ship date between 10/1 and 10/30. I ordered at 2:19am and only want a 16GB! Hurry up AT&T!
 
ugh. I ordered from Apple at 3:06am EST time thinking I'd get it soonest from them. Now I regret it. AT&T orders are shipping and I'm so jealous. I'm still "processing" on Apple. So frustrating.

If it makes you feel any better, I ordered from AT&T hours earlier than some people who're already shipping and mine's still processing as well. I did order a 64GB gold, so that may have something to do with it, but it's irritating nevertheless.

I ordered the 64GB Silver. But I don't think any orders have shipped from Apple at all yet. I share your aggravation!!
