Carrier 5S order through AT&T not shipping until 10/21?

My order went from preparing to ship to processing today... I think because my SIM is now not backordered, but processing lol I do have a in process charge for $299 on my AMEX for it.
 
I ordered via 611 yesterday around 8am pst and this is what my order status says:

So does that mean its shipping today?
 
I literally just got a shipping confirmation from AT&T for my 32GB Silver 5S.

It was picked up at Ft Worth TX, should get to my house at 2PM Monday! :D:cool::apple:

Ordered a few minutes before 12 pacific

Shipment date just changed to 9/21. Career FedEx.
 
For all the folks putting down ordering from AT&T, looks like those that ordered at the launch will be getting phones Monday. :)

I've learned my lesson on this one. Definitely only ordering from AT&T in the future!

Nope. My 64GB Grey ha shipped. Ordered through regular ATT site (not premier) because Apple site (and App) kept returning an error saying they couldn't verify my ATT account or whatever.
 
Just checked and the est. ship dates are gone. Still in processing but now there is a message stating in progress and preparing for shipment.
 
Funny how people used to spew hatred toward AT&T in the past. Where are those people? AT&T seems to be taking care of its customers while Apple is just trying to create lines at its stores and please carrier partners.

Ordered at launch 12:00am Arizona time. Gotta give em props too, Amex flagged it as potential fraud so I got an email from AT&T saying that I needed to clear up payment. Fixed the alert with Amex online, went thru the gyrations of the voice tree on AT&T and got confirmed order while waiting in line at AT&T store.

As of Mon we will have 2 64gb (space grey) in addition to the 32gb 5s that I picked up Friday along with the 5c (lime green, daughter was jonesing for)

Overall, pretty pleased with this launch and didn't have to stand in long lines. (there were 11 people in line at the local store)

yes, orders got shipped after I posted, even mine. At the moment of that post those were the only ones posted here. ;)
 
I never received a shipping email but I checked the AT&T app on my phone and SHIPPED! Should be here 9/23 at 3pm. Already took the afternoon off! So damn excited.
 
Ok so a minute or two after I get off the phone with ATT support I get my shipment notice and FedEx tracking number. Should be here Monday.

I swear they meant to type 9/21 and not 10/21

I ordered from Apple at 3:15 AM launch day because AT&T screwed me on the pre-order on the 4s. If I'd ordered from AT&T I'd probably have it Monday rather than 10/8-10/10. Grrrrr.

I have to say I've ordered every iPhone I've ever had from AT&T and I've yet to have a problem. Granted I order them the minute they go on sale but I'm a happy customer.

I did. Got an email stating it was shipped. I have a tracking number. Issue is AT&T site says its processing and the tracking number isn't working.UPS site says

>>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later.
 
So I ordered a gold 5s at the launch at my local AT&T store. My order says "preparing to ship" and my sim says backordered the rep at the store said 3-4 days but the estimated delivery says oct 21-30? When will I get it?
 
Got my shipment notice too. I can't believe it will be here Monday.

I had a bad experience with my 4s order from AT&T. But this makes up for it. Even though they initially said 5s delivery would be 7-14 days then oct 21 to oct 30 then oct-1 to oct 10.
