Ordered a 64g Grey and 32g Grey Friday evening. After showing expected ship dates of 10/07-14, the 32g is shipping today. Hopefully the 64g will follow soon, as it's mine!

Carrier 5S order through AT&T not shipping until 10/21?

I ordered the iphone 5s gold 64gb as an upgrade to my 4s on Sept 20 at 3:02am est.
I got the confirmation email at 3:06.
My order status has been sitting at preparing to ship since Saturday morning.

Umm I'm passing close to the FEDex location that is close to my house early in the morning tomorrow since I have to take my car for a small repair, might try to do pickup there of my 32GB silver if the system lets me.
Same here, though I ordered mine about 10 minutes after you did (foolishly played with Apple's site and tried several times to order through them but they couldn't connect to AT&T's servers); got it to go through with AT&T immediately. I think those of us with 64GB gold ones on order are going to be commiserating for a while.
Because my company pays for my plan, I cannot order a phone myself. I have to go through my company's phone replacement process. So, I notified our IT person that handles the cell phones. She placed the order on Friday at 12:45PM (she forwarded me the email confirmation). The AT&T confirmation indicated a 7-14 business day wait. Well, my phone arrived today. Have it in my hands. What a great surprise!
Now my wife is jealous because we ordered her replacement through the Apple Store app before my company's order went through, and hers is still Processing (got hers after it went to the 7-10 day window).

The order tracking website said ships 10/1-10/30 on all of them. The 2 Grays were shipped on Sat by UPS and will be delivered today (premier, free next day air).
Today the Gold is finally shipped by Fedex. It will arrive tomorrow.

I have to forgive AT&T, too. Ordered a 64GB Silver minutes after they went on sale and was told shipping date was October 30! After being ticked and thinking about cancelling, I received an email today saying it will be here tomorrow.
I was sure AT&T was making me wait to they could use stock to real in new customers. I was wrong.

I ordered at the launch in store at AT&T the rep said it would only take 3-4 days for a 16gb gold when will it come because I didn't believe him??
I ordered mine on Friday around noon, Gray 5S 32GB, originally scheduled to be shipped between 9/25-9/27. On saturday it changed to 10/20-10/29 with simcard backordered. This morning it was shipped and will be deliver tomorrow!! Can't wait!! Good luck!!

Lucky. I'm trying to figure out what is going on. Had my phone ordered in store at 4:30PM EST on Friday (9/20), got the email from att that it has been shipped. Att site says phone is preparing to ship and sim is backordered. No tracking information is avaliable on the UPS site.

Friday morning, I waited in line at my local COR AT&T store for 5 hours only to be told they only had Space Grey. I went ahead and ordered two 32GB phones, one silver, the other gold.
The silver one shipped on saturday and I received it yesterday, the gold one is still on backorder. Both originally said shipping in 21-28 days, although this is just a placeholder as AT&T truly doesn't know when they are going to receive shipments from Apple.
I'm hoping the gold phone ships by the end of the week. Luckily its for my wife and she could really care less when the phone shows up. I would have been bummed if hers showed up first.

Yikes, my friend ordered his 64gb AT&T space grey (not sure if it was right at midnight) from the AT&T website, and he got his yesterday! I though, WOW, how he he'll did a carrier pulp that off so fast. When he ordered he said it stated 7-14 days
I ordered a 64GB Gold iPhone 5S on Friday about an hour and a half after the sales went live. All the shipping times were 7-14 days for silver and space grey, but gold was 7-28. I wanted the gold so I was like ah what the hell I'll wait. Later on Friday it went through processing and has been sitting on preparing for shipment with a random date of 10/1/2013 to 10/30/2013 since Friday Afternoon. I feel like I'm going to be waiting for awhile
Sadly, you probably are. I went ahead and canceled mine this morning, advising the AT&T rep that the reason I was canceling was due to the long wait. I know it's a result of the supply issues and isn't AT&T's fault, but at least they have a reason as to why the order was canceled.
Now hoping & waiting for the in-store pickup option to go live again on Apple's site. Even if it doesn't and I have to order for shipping, I still get the feeling that Apple will have it sooner than AT&T might. Could be wrong; I dunno.
