I ordered a 64GB Gold iPhone 5S on Friday about an hour and a half after the sales went live. All the shipping times were 7-14 days for silver and space grey, but gold was 7-28. I wanted the gold so I was like ah what the hell I'll wait. Later on Friday it went through processing and has been sitting on preparing for shipment with a random date of 10/1/2013 to 10/30/2013 since Friday Afternoon. I feel like I'm going to be waiting for awhile

im in the same boat which is frustrating because i feel this whole thimg could of been prepared a little better than what it was.

Sadly, you probably are. I went ahead and canceled mine this morning, advising the AT&T rep that the reason I was canceling was due to the long wait. I know it's a result of the supply issues and isn't AT&T's fault, but at least they have a reason as to why the order was canceled.

Now hoping & waiting for the in-store pickup option to go live again on Apple's site. Even if it doesn't and I have to order for shipping, I still get the feeling that Apple will have it sooner than AT&T might. Could be wrong; I dunno.

Should've double your chances by not canceling the order and only doing so after you get yours from Apple.

Now, it is very likely AT&T will ship your specific order to somebody else instead, who might get it first.

Eh, maybe. I just didn't want to have $900 sitting out there, tied up in 2 phones that are sitting in limbo.

Just called the store I ordered my phone from and was told it will be shipped today and should receive it by Thursday the latest. 16GB Gold.

I ordered on 9/19 at 8:30pm. 64g Gold AT&T and I was due to get it overnighted. Well, it went from Friday noon to Monday am the latest now it says "preparing to ship" "back ordered" with no date available.. Bummer!! I'm pissed!!!!!:(:(

Ordered GOLD on Friday afternoon (the 20th) through my Premier rep.

Status says: "Preparing to Ship - 10/21/13 - 10/30/13"

I get really impatient/frustrated and then I have to take deep breaths and tell myself, "It's just a phone, it's just a phone, it's just a phone." Mostly frustrated because I was up at 3am like many others who already got their phones.
32 GB Silver.

16gb gold ordered through AT&T website after midnight launch day.
Received tracking # few hours ago. FedEx 2 days. Shipped from Memphis. I'm from west coast. Will be here Thursday

Ordered at 12;20 am from AT&T 16GB gold. At time of order, said 7-10 days. Actual confirmation said late October like everyone else. Today I got a FedEx tracking that it will be delivered tomorrow!!

I placed my order last night for the silver 16GB via Premier. It's currently in "preparing to ship" status with an estimated ship date range of 10/3/13-10/14/13.

Yes!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a 32 gold on Premier about 4pm launch day. Told me I would ship between 10/21 and 10/30. Woke up to a tracking # that it'll be here tomorrow by 4:30..:D

Definitely thinking I should have ordered through Premier after all. Instead, I went to Apple thinking they'd have a better supply than AT&T, and as a result both my phones are 'Processing' still. Whoops

Just checked ATT Order Status and the sim went from Back-Ordered to Processing. Here's hoping for a confirmation today.

I have some type of movement, I'll take it! :D

Same here, Gold 64GB. The SIM card went from Backordered to Processing today.

Me too now the sim card says processing. It seems like they were doing 16GB Gold two days ago, 32GB Gold yesterday, 64GB Gold today? :D
