Battery is awesome. I still have about 46% when I'm about to go to sleep. I don't have to worry about my phone dying. I have no need to bring my Mophie external battery with me anywhere. So happy.

I'm really not sure what's going on with my 6 Plus. Battery was great the first day, but has been terrible ever since. I even have every battery hog feature turned off, including all system location services. :(

Trying to run my new iPhone 6 Plus battery down to 1% so I can charge it all the way up for the first time. 12 hours in under heavy use, and I'm still at 16%. That's impressive, especially given the gazillions of notifications I get.

I did the exact same thing yesterday/today. Took it off the charger at 8 yesterday morning (plugged it in to my MBP for a few minutes to backup and sync my music) and STRUGGLED to get it down to 1% at noon today! I went to bed around midnight last night, put it on airplane mode with 25% left, and when I woke up around 8, it had gone down to 24%. Insane battery life for my usage.

Battery is the best feature of the phone. Full day plus battery life is the biggest reason to choose the 6+ over the 6.

It's 9:53 at night. I'm at 59% still. I've used the phone for like, 5 hours and 30 minutes. This phone is insane - I can definitely last tomorrow on this charge

Not only am I happy with the battery life...I'm ECSTATIC with the fact that I can charge this phone super fast on the iPad 12W charger!!!!

I will NEVER need a battery case again!

charging faster would create more heat, which can damage the battery in long term (the capacity to hold charge would be reduced). battery does not like heat.

it's not like you're setting it on fire. don't worry. but yeah, use it only when you actually need fast ASAP.

This is where I am at before heading to bed. Should end up around 8 hours of usage or so which seems to be the norm for me at the point. Would be really nice to get the 10+ hours that everyone else is getting. Did those of you who are getting 10+ hours of usage set up as a new phone or restore from a previous backup. I would hate to have to wipe my phone if I don't have to, especially if it makes no difference. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411877290.244155.jpg

This is what im talking about 13 hours of non stop use, i used it all day from 12pm to now... Way better than my 6 which is about a little more than 6 hours... Mostly on wifi...

I set mine up as a new phone. I also have my brightness fairly low, and turned off background app refresh and turned on reduce motion.

Currently doing all 3. Do you have push notifications setup for email and apps? I tend to get a decent amount of notifications while im sleeping via email and FB messenger which uses up about 5-8% of battery.

I was getting between 8 and 10 hours after my initial cycle on my Plus. Seemed lowish so after doing some optimization (background refresh limitations, turned off most notifications, most GPS, kept auto-bright at 30% default and kept parallax on) I ran another cycle and got this. My use at this point is much more reflective of average for me as well.

I'm amazed. This is better than what my iPad Air gets.

Unfortunately mine sucks. It must be settings like keeping it at 100% brightness. However background refresh is off on all but 3 or 4 apps. I did have push on 2 out of 3 mailboxes. I did see my screen timeout was set to 5 mins.

At 8% I was at 3:45 usage and just under 5hrs standby. Took it off charger at 6:30 am and by 1pm I was down to 8%.

Def not an all day battery so far. I will try using auto brightness, 1 min screen timeout, only push on work email and a few others.

I may not have drug this all the way down yet to condition the battery. Will try that too. I did restore from backup per apple genius instructions after we did restore as new via iTunes to fix a camera issue. Not sure I want to go restore as new again. Pain to redo all my settings and app saves.

I will say it is better than my 5S but that battery BLEW as well. Had to carry around battery chargers everywhere I went.

The battery life on the iPhone 6 Plus is pretty amazing. I am using it as much as my iPhone 5 and it is lasting a hell of a lot longer.

It went from 100% to 70% in about 8 hours. I'm not using it constantly for 8 hours though, but doing various things every few minutes or so. Music, browsing the web, checking email, texting, watching videos.

Doing the same tasks on the iPhone 5 in that same timespan it would be near 50% or lower.

I was charging my 5 at least twice a day.

It seemed you used CheckPoints quite a bit. I used to have that app and it's a battery killer, esp. for the constant GPS.
