Too heavy? Do some forearm curls
It's interesting that you should say that. I find that I'm able to perform most functions with one hand on my 6 Plus, except the crucial one of going back. Even with Reachability, I can't reach the back button on most apps without repositioning my hand.
I feel like if the Plus had been redesigned it wouldn't look quite as obnoxious...I got a 6 but I'll keep an eye out for the next one that'll hopefully be more efficiently designed, then I'll be happy to leap. And buy a bluetooth headset so I don't have to put the thing up to my ear, I'd feel like such a hole doing that.
There's just no way that sales are 50:50. Production of 6 Plus units has lagged behind 6 units so a 50:50 split of actual iPhones simply doesn't exist.
That's what's being reported by the major financial analysts who cover the stock.
Care to link to it? I find that VERY hard to believe.
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, it seems like many apps do not yet support this gesture, although I had used it for some time in Safari. I can't use it on Facebook, BBC News, BuzzFeed, YouTube, eBay, and Merrill Edge to name a few. And perhaps most crucially, most areas within iOS. Although I imagine that over time, it will gain more widespread adoption.Swipe from left screen edge to right. You can do this from anywhere on the edge... even the bottom. No need to reach up top for the back button.
I personally would be embarrassed to put that to me ear- I guess I'm too old!!
Yes, that's what I noticed when I played with the 6+ and 6. I have huge hands, but I do not have pianist hands with extra-long fingers either.
The 6+ is just too big to use with one hand. You can hold it fine with one hand, you can touch the side of the screen with one hand. So you can read without problem. But you can't interact with it with one hand.
On the other hand, the 6 is tricky. It feels like you can use it with one hand. But it's still very hard to reach the top of the screen - and you have a lot of functions you need all the time at the top of the screen on iOS. Also, you can reach the opposite side of the screen, but you have to strain your thumb. So, the 6 looks like you can use it with one hand, but it's not really comfortable. If you have both hands free, you will just use if with both hands, because it feels better...
This is getting me to reconsider. The main advantage of the 6 is one-handed use, the 6+ has anything else: big screen, more autonomy, split view... If you're going to use both two-handed anyway, might as well get the 6+...

The iphone 6 may not be the iPhone 5c, but it's still the inferior phone between the 2.
HA. They're the same exact phone (less OIS, battery)...
Like Android?I agree. After yesterday with two hands or left handed use the hand is already getting better. I have been using the "double tap" on the home button to bring down the top of the screen. That seems like a pain at first but I'm getting used to it pretty quickly.
Just wondering with these big phone would it be smart to put the normally top menus at the bottom of the screen instead of the top.
I don't know but at least I am getting used to it.
