I don't have either size yet but will be upgrading from a 4s soon. I really want the 6+ but the one thing putting me off is the size of the bezels. I think the bezels need to go away or or at least be reduced by half. I know the phone isn't all about the outward appearance but I feel like they could do more with the design. I've been looking at Androids lately and I really don't want to leave Apple. I won't be upgrading until I settle it in my mind on the best size for me.

I went back and forth, immediately ordered the 64GB Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus from ATT, was gonna be about a month out so ended up cancelling and was going to just keep using my iPhone 5. Ended up deciding screw it and ordered it again but from Apple as it was about 3 weeks out. Then watched some first impression videos and saw how massive it was in people's hands and saw a lot of comments on how it was really too big mainly due to the large bezel on top and bottom so cancelled again and ordered a 64GB regular iPhone 6 from Apple which said 7-10 day ship. Think I'll end up liking it better honestly, I'm a 6'3" man but I have woman hands lol, I have a size 6 ring on and it's a little too loose for crap sake lol! I think the regular size 6 will suite me just fine, can't wait to get it!

Oooo. Android sizes are great imo but the os isn't as smooth. There are a few stutters. But again imo not noticeable by the average person. I'm on a g3, that's why the i6+ unnecessary size angers me. I wanted to go back to Apple. Now I'm stuck mauling it over.

Guys, the fact is you just can not realistically use the 6 Plus one-handed. Once you accept that fact and move on to treating it as the 2-handed "iPad Nano" device that it is, you'll be fine. Otherwise, return it for a 6.

^^^THIS...

Yeah it's a matter of getting used to after having an iPhone 5 for 2 years. But that little compromise of using 2 hands vs better/larger screen, better camera, bigger capacity (I have the 6Plus 128gb) and a longer battery life is enoughfor me to stick with my 6 Plus.

I'm loving my 6 Plus. Love that I have like 2500 songs, 8 movies, 4900 photos, 161 apps and I still have 70gb free....in my pocket....WINNER !!!

I was at Verizon on the 19th and I held the 6 Plus display model in my hands and it felt so perfectly "man-sized" that I began to tear up. I had to walk away from the device because I was getting emotional and didn't wanna look like a skirt in front of everyone at the store. ;-)
I recently ordered the 6 Plus directly from Apple because I can't find it in any store in my area. I was able to purchase the 6 Minus for my wife on launch day and she loves it. It's a beautiful device but just too small for my 6'2" frame. I can't wait for my 6+ to arrive!

I got 2 years under my belt of using 5.5" phones and so far the 4.7" feels perfect even with this non slip speck case on it. You guys need to spend at least a hour in the Apple Store to form your own opinion. I came in thinking that the 5.5" was for me but left out feeling that 4.7" was the way to go. Not missing my Note 3 at all and it's refreshing to come back down to a smaller size. I think you guys will enjoy the 5.5" model for a year or 2 before you change your minds. I remember how excited I was when I got the Note 2 but that initial excitement does degraded over a period of time. It's not only about holding it but the actual daily routine of carrying the device 16 hours a day.
So far my only con of the 4.7" model is battery life but a battery case should fix that. Morphie would have easily made a $100 off me on Friday. And trying to use a battery case on that 5.5" model would be impossible.

if your gonna put a mophie on it why not get the 6 plus
i was in the apple store yesterday and fro playing with both think the 6 plus blows the other one away
That was the thought of most people I talked to there
Of course people who picked the 6 and have it already are gonna say the other is to big lol

"We"? Are you a member of a royal family?

I use the 6 Plus one handed in quite a few use cases, such as reading messages or replying to them (even if I couldn't type one handed on the portrait keyboard, I use dictation most of the time), checking the weather, etc. so yes, it is true. It doesn't imply that I use it one handed all the time (typing this two handed on the nice big landscape keyboard), but I do for many things.

And this very sentence was typed one handed on the portrait keyboard. So there.

So you agree or disagree, hard to tell with that run on sentence contradicting yourself. With my iPhone 5s, I used it one handed 99% of the time. With my 6 (not the +) there have been several situations I haven't been able to use it one handed when compared to the 5s. I stand by what I said, the 6+ isn't usable one handed. Yes, I agree you can hold the 6+ one handed and might be able to do a few things with it. But, let me see you walking down the sidewalk and reply to a text message one handed, with a cup of coffee in the other hand.... Not saying the 6+ isn't a great phone, my 6 is awesome, even though it's taking some getting used and I have lost some situations where I can't use it one handed.

That's what the edge swipe gesture is for. Who hits back buttons anymore?

maybe but I think it comes down to taste. I'm the kind of person that wants a big screen in the smallest size possible. I also think a big android phone I easier since the control buttons are at the bottom.on apple your back button on most apps is at the top corner. Even with reachability I had to readjust my hand to get my thumb to that top left corner.

iPhone 6 for me. I don't want to wait for the iPhone 7 for an iphone of the perfect size

I have all that with my 128GB 6 as well, plus I can use it one-handed, with ease. WINNER! ;)

A lot of owners of the 6 Plus are saying it's too big too. (including myself)

The 6+ screen is amazing.

So is the 6's. Plus I can still use it one-handed. Oops, that's confusing. I meant "plus" as in "also" (Also, I can use it one-handed) not as in "iPhone 6+" (iPhone 6+ I can use one-handed) because the latter is obviously not true! :p

So my pre-orders for the 6 and 6 Plus 64GB both arrived today.. and I am glad I bought both.

I demo'd a Galaxy Note 3 and thought I would be okay with the 6 Plus, but I find it's just too heavy and too large to be able to use at the same speed and comfort that I can use my 5 at.

With the 6, I can reach the edges of the screen fine, and it's not noticeably heavier than my 5. With the 6 Plus, it's considerably heavier, and impossible to reach all buttons without overstretching or using another hand - to the point where after 10 minutes of use I found it uncomfortable and sore.

I'm going to be putting my 6 Plus on eBay I think. I really LOVE the screen and camera, and the battery life enhancements are what encouraged me to buy the 6 Plus in the first place, but I don't think I can deal with this!

Anybody else care to share their opinion?

Sore?Sore?lol

I was using the oneplus one for a week and it felt good but the iPhone 6+ does feel tad too big which is weird because the iPhone really isn't that much bigger

The 6 has a nice screen but it's quantifiably less amazing :)

And I can use my 6+ one-handed. But I have large hands. I'm also weird, apparently, in that I always use my left hand even though I'm a righty, which means the only awkward spot for me is the very upper right corner, where there's never anything to tap anyway. (But I wish the power button were on the left side).

My hands are average size, I guess (I can palm a basketball) but I wish they were just a little bigger. Just for the stupid phone. :)

Anyway, I'm glad you're happy! I'll probably suck it up and get the 6S+ next year (and dump my LTE rMini) which will save me some coin each month ... I'll just have to get used to how big the damn thing is.

Biggest problem is pockets :) Happily they fit in the front pocket of my levis. And my dress clothes for work aren't a problem (though when I wear a suit and stick it in the inside pocket it's a bit like wearing a bullet proof shield).

I checked out the 6 & 6+ at the upper west side apple store here in NYC yesterday. I have to say, both are beautiful. However...with their larger size and curved edges, both are very...um slippery tho. They both slipped out of my hands numerous times. Especially the plus. Once it actually fell onto the display table with a thud. And I have BIG hands. I'd definitely get a slim silicone case for both. I currently don't have an iphone. Just an iPod touch 5G and an iPad mini.

I carry my iPad mini everywhere, so I found myself gravitating more towards the plus. It'd be the perfect size for me. More portable than the ipad, yet big enough to actually enjoy surfing the net on.

I wish I could take out my AT&T unlimited nano SIM card from my iPad mini, and just slap it into an unlocked iphone 6 plus. That'd be perfect. But I don't think that'd work.

I'm gonna wait to see if Apple releases a 5.5" iPod touch this October. As that line is due for an update.

I have to agree. Android's native lack of gestures for navigating is actually quite primitive when compared to iOS's ability to swipe back and forward.

I have an S5 as my main driver, and the screen size plus needing to use the back button is a less than ideal combo. iOS makes it so much easier with a natural, more intuitive movement.
