Why are people so against using there second hand? We have one for a reason! If you cant reach this stuff one handed, you have a handy second hand to reach everything else. I just don't get it, its no big deal. But than again Ive been using a 5.5" screen for a couple years now. I'm 5'11.

Ive been using a 5.5" screen for a couple years now and can reach most things one handed, if not BOOM hand number two comes to life and hits what can't be reached. Its pretty neat. I highly recommend using your other hand when one hand won't due.

they need their other hand for their mocha latte.

what, 1/4" bigger lmao...got to be kidding, ever open a tape measure..LMAO...good god

I used the Note 3 for six months and loved it (until it had hardware problems). You really think 1/4" larger 6+ is the deal breaker for me? Ok.

Ah MacRumors. I don't think this place will ever grow out of dick jokes and "that's what she said."

Y'all some financially higher class dudes, but it feels like grade 6 in here sometimes.

As almost every "professional" review has stated, initially the iPhone 6 Plus felt enormous, but after normal, everyday usage for about a week, almost every reviewer that I read said that they found themselves getting used to and preferring the 6 Plus.

No reviewer stated they prefer the 6 plus over the 6.. It's actually opposite... Get your facts staight.

It's kind of funny reading the back and forth in the size debate. I'm sure that there will be people who decide it's too big and exchange it for a 6. But I'm also sure there will be people with screen size envy who finally get a chance to play with both who will want to trade up to the bigger screen.

As for the differences, they aren't THAT big between them. The 6+ is .42 inches wider and .78 inches taller. Some of the comments here seem like the phone is many inches bigger. I'm just not sure how less than a half of an inch in width is going to make such a huge difference in one hand usability, but to each his own.

Maybe I'm mistaken (and I'll check the video reviews I watched later), but at least two of the reviews I watched stated that they ended up using the plus more than the 6 after a week of usage.

I'll have to confirm later.

Then don't buy it.

Not all of us use our iPhones soley as a phone. Hell, I barely use any minutes in a month as it is. If anything, I use it more for internet, text, email, social media, video, music, etc... And a BT headset solves the whole tablet on the side of your head issue.

You all think that if it is too big for you it is too big period. Not everyone is made the same or has the same preferences. I want something larger than the iPhone 6 but smaller than my iPad rMini to use while I am out of my house. The iP6+ will meet that need...for ME.

If it doesn't meet your needs, I understand that but please stop coming on the forums saying that Apple screwed up and made a phone that is too big. That is personal opinion. I for one am glad that Apple came out with the iP6+.
I love the size of the 6+. I have large hands and will be able to navigate it one-handed for most inputs. No problems anticipated while using the using the 6+. I just hate buying a trailer to pull behind my F-150 Crew Cab because there's no way it'll fit inside the cab. J/K of course no trailer will be required, It will fit it in the bed with millimeters to spare.

I was going to buy the 6 plus, and use it for work/notes using a bluetooth keyboard, like I do with my iPad 3 - down to one device!

BUT when I realized that to equal a tablet I will need to carry a KEYBOARD larger than the phone as well, that killed the idea. I'm still stuck carrying 2 devices. I would rather carry a smaller phone, and an iPad mini/keyboard combo.

The 6 Plus IS obnoxiously large, buyers WILL be disappointed, they WILL return it, and they WILL admit it right here in this forum.

There needs to be a down vote arrow.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 dimensions: 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3mm, 168g

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 dimensions: 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5 mm, 176g

iPhone 6+ dimensions: 158.1 x 77.8 x 7.1mm, 172g

It isn't much bigger than the Note 3 and the Note 4 will be even closer to the size of the iP6+.

Your "opinion" is noted....moving on.

Weird question, but how tall are you?
LOL come on man! this has nothing to do with height. It never has.
Nobody is going to return it, they won't be able to. What planet are you from? That's the reason there will be complaints...because nobody wants that flat brick attached to their ear for the next 2 years.

It would benefit you to read Apple's return policy before posting again. ;)

The 6+ definitely seemed to be a phone that I would love to use but could hate to pocket. I carry my phone in my pocket and that was a deal breaker for me. One-handed use didn't occur to me. I bought the 6 finding the size was better and I am fine with the battery life and lack of OIS. I have a dedicated camera...with OIS.

or buy a 6, since I already own a iPad... instead of cramming 2 uses into 1 device that doesn't effectively satisfy either need, I just own both devices and can use them accordingly. That seems like a better solution.

You don't understand why people come to a forum to give their personal opinion?

Welcome to the internet. Also, ironic that you gave your personal opinion simultaneously... lol

Exactly, I voiced my opinion, but I did not say that Apple was wrong for making an iP6 or that the iP6 is useless because it is smaller, or that the iP5S is a peice of junk because of a 4" screen.

So many of you are posting up on forums all over the place that it is a huge phone that WILL be a failure. it will only be a failure to those that want a smaller phone. For those that want a larger phone it will be a SUCCESS.

I have an HTC one max now and pre ordered the 6 +, I know how big the 6+ is, but I also knew most out their think they know but actually DON'T know!!!

For us that want a 6+ we suffer for the ones that really don't, we have to wait now, maybe I should check for a 1/3 off deal on open box ones, There is certainly going to be LOTS!!!! or by the end of the weekend eBay will be flooded with +'s = great deals!!

Where did this idea come from that you have to have be a large person or have large hands to use a big phone? What does it matter if you're 6'3 or 5'1? I take the DC metro to work and see petite women with phablets on a daily basis. I'm 5'2, 130 lbs and have absolutely no issues. People are being way too overdramatic. So the 6 feels more comfortable and lighter in the hand? Well of course it is! It's a smaller phone as well as the standard size for smartphone these days. Not even Apple can make a phablet feel less like a phablet.

I'm a 5'8" female with pretty small hands and I feel it's pretty big (twss).

I am going to go look at a 4.7" after work haven't fully decided if I'm going to attempt to swap out or not. Man is it a gorgeous phone though and I'll probably keep it. :D

I feel like if the Plus had been redesigned it wouldn't look quite as obnoxious (to ME), the actual screen size is great, fantastic even, but the size of the bezels is ridiculous. It looks like an overgrown iphone rather than something intentionally done--the proportions are exactly the same and it seems hard to believe this was necessary to fit everything in.

I agree. Part of me thinks this is a marketing strategy for future sales. Apple, due to the extra space on top and bottom and sides, can make the iphone 7/7s screen bigger... Maybe 5.8" without increasing the overall size of the phone. Android mfgs OTOH have no choice but to make phones bigger if they go up in screen size since their phones are already pared down around the screen.
