The problem with ANY redesign is that there will be a crowd who thinks it's for the better, and another crowd who thinks it's for the worse. For the vast majority of the users, they will find some new great features that they enjoy, and just learn to adjust and roll with the ones that they don't like as much. For the rest of the very small vocal minority, they will continue to wail, gnash teeth and strip their garments, claiming on internet tech forums that it's the end of Apple's leadership of a company, find one or two new features to congregate around and bash, and finally threaten to run to Android if Apple doesn't immediately put things back the way they were. As the saying goes, "don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!".
