Has anyone who has been using one of these protectors for a few weeks, removed it and inspected the phone's glass underneath?

I know my GDSmith has a gap, but I'm wondering if dust getting in there could really cause any scratches?
I'll let you know when my GDSmith replacement arrives (it's scheduled to any day now). I installed the one that's on there now several weeks ago, so we'll see how much link/dust/dirt/grime/gunk has made it's way underneath.

I have used the Screen Protector iPhone 6S Titanium Black Model from them and it covered the full phone perfectly, Not sure about the model you mentioned above but the one I got from them was perfect.

Has anyone else got feedback of there experience with Screen Protectors UK? This is the one I am using and has been working great so far... Seems to be mixed reviews on the others. http://screenprotectors.co.uk/shop/...urved-screen-tempered-glass-screen-protector/

I tried it with the ultra hybrid clear case and the protector lifted. Not sure about the neo hybrid

I also have an ultra hybrid and it works with the daswise protector. The only time I can make the protector lift is when I intentionally push in the part of the case around the ring/silent switch which is flimsy because of the cutout. This is on a 6S.

**** it.

I much prefer the feeling of glass instead of plastic but I simply refuse to use screen protectors that aren't fitted properly and have gaps around the edges to accumulate dust/grit.

Ordered a 3-pack of plastic screen protectors off of Amazon and will simply use that until a properly fitted 6s glass screen protector comes out without halo gaps around the edges.

Does non edge to edge glass have issues w/ sticking to the glass too?

Yes, it does have the same issue. I've tried Spigen, Tech armor, and Anker. All are non edge to edge screen protectors and they all have the same issue. I've been able to get a refund from all three manufacturers though.

I got an e-mail from Anker on 11/9 which says "Please be assured that we are working on a new version of this protector which covers the whole screen/surface so that the white edge problem can be solved and it will come out after a week. Please feel free to re-purchase it."

I am surprised that over 2 months since its release we still don't have proper screen protectors. I have tried Dawise, and two generic types. Not only are they all the same in terms of having border adhesion problems, I think they all came from the same factory. The tell-tale sign is the little wipes, sticker, etc. you get in the box. All of them have the same EXACT contents.

Makes it funny to see people say one brand is good and another isn't good when they are all the exact same item in different packaging.

But none the less, I have spent about $40 on screen protectors at this point (which was 6 screen protectors in all as I tend to order more than one of each in case I screw up) and not one fits flawlessly. I hope some companies comes up with one within a month or two cause this is quite ridiculous.

I tried yet another one a few nights ago. This time the brand was Pleson and of course, same result as always. Big halo gap that runs around the entire edge. So now I've tried Anker (including the ones that were supposedly made for the 6s specifically), Spigen, intelliARMOR, Pleson and Maxboost.

At this point, I've just accepted that I'll have to live with the halo. I'd rather do that and keep the resale value as high as possible than go without and end up with a screen that's scratched to ****.

EDIT: Just want to be clear that I have a black iPhone 6s. NOT the 6s Plus.

I am the same way. However, this specific one seems to be edge to edge for 6s+ and works with my spigen slim case as well as zoogue case.

Yep.

Just put on the plastic screen protector (Jtech) I got off of Amazon and can confirm the same halo issue.

Guess I'll have to look for a wet install screen protector as my last resort and hope for the best?

:(

Unfortunately no screen protector currently in existence is properly made to fit the slightly more curved screen of the 6s/6s+. Not daswise, not icemax, not spigen, NONE of them avoid the halo gap around the edges.

The only reason people think Daswise (or others like it) work is because it has a colored border so the halo gap around the border doesn't show through. But it's definitely there, accumulating a bunch of dust / grit which could potentially scratch the screen, and will show up once you take the protector off.

And I'm still here rocking the original factory protective film that came with my 6s which covers the rear as well. It has dirt, scratches and bubbles but I can live with that for now.

I'm currently using the daswise (two days now) and at least it looks good. I'm aware that the edges may be slightly lifted but at least it's better than no protection at all while looking good. This will have to suffice until a better solution becomes available. I also order an aluminum bumper on eBay http://m.ebay.com/itm/331706282721?_mwBanner=1 and I will update how it fits/looks once I receive it.

Ah...gotcha! Thank you for explaining that. I guess we have to wait for some creative minds to come up with a true solution. :)

After some time with a Daswise full screen protector I took it off and now have a regular pet film. While I did make a prefect install with no bubbles There was dust under the camera and sensor parts of the screen protector that got there after about a week. I removed it and found dust and debris all around the edges and in the part that covers the front camera and sensors

Yikes.

Thanks for posting this, especially the high res pictures showing all the debris building up

Will probably reference your post each time I see someone say their Daswise, or whatever other edge-to-edge their using, fits perfect and doesn't have a halo gap around the edges (suuuuuure it doesn't ).

P.S. I hate accessory makers for being lazy and simply assuming 6 protectors work for the 6s!

You can reference me also... I ordered the Dawise precisely because of a few people here who claimed a perfect install. I ordered 3 of them, figured in case I screw up one I have backups. NOPE. They all have Halo. Installed the final one on my dad's 6S Plus. His halo is smaller than the one I have on my phone but its still quite visible.

After removing the screen protector, did you notice any scratches on the iPhone glass caused by the trapped dust and debris?

After having my Godosmith Ice Max on for a month (iPhone 6, mind you) there was very little, if any, grit and grime beneath and definitely no marking or scratching.
