If I could get it to only halo a corner, I would probably call it a day. All the ones I've tried halo'ed from top to bottom on both edges. All in the width of 1/8" to 1/6" :(

Same here. Except for some reason the Anker 6S sealed all the way. All others were no good, resulting in several returns back to Amazon.

Glad that Anker worked for you Danny! It's been a frustrating process for a lot of us.

My most recent one: Spartan tempered glass from XtremeGuard. On my phone 6S Plus, this one so far gives the best seal. After 1 night, both edges are sitting at about 1/16".

One thing I did notice on my 6S Plus screen, the curvature is really weird. It curves up on the screen edge where the screen meets the body, then the screen edge curves down on *BOTH* sides. When I felt my old 6 Plus, the screen sits flush until the screen edge, then curves down towards the body.

What are the differences between Ballistic, Tempered and Gorilla glasses. Which one is recommended for the 6s+? I don't like fingerprints all over the protector.

Is it normal that after installing a full cover glass screen protector, there are lines (along the vertical edges of the display, between the white and dark areas) of air? Is there anything that I could do? When I press the screen along the edge, the corresponding line disappeared. As long as I removed my finger, it reappeared.

That's the main problem most of us are experiencing with these S/P's. They don't work properly.

It's due to the varying screen curvatures in the 6S/6S+. At least from all the discussions in the forums. That's the conclusion we have pretty much come too.

But manufacturers usually say that their products are for 6s +. So, although the screens can be put on the 6s+, they don't work well. In other words, manufacturers lie?

From what I experienced, which I also posted in this thread the same way that others experienced, save your money and don't buy a tempered glass screen protector. Sadly, most of them have the "halo" effect due to the varying screens of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. And to answer your question, can't speak for manufacturers but it seems that way based on my personal experience.

Of course they lie. Sadly enough, they'll tell you anything just to sell you the product.

I recall from one manufacturer, they literally put a "iPhone 6S" label on top of the existing "Compatible with iPhone 6" sticker on the back of the S/P packaging. Luckily I was refunded.

Well I wanted to give an update, I upupgraded phone from 6S to a 6S Plus and as soon as I received the phone, I put in a glass screen protector from Tech Armor and it was a perfect install.

Which leads me to think that the 6S really has more variance to where the screen curves, which causes the halo effect, compared to the larger 6S Plus.

I have tried many kinds of tempered glass protector, but halo effects and bubbles always happened to my iPhone, any suggestion?

I'm using a Maxboost tempered glass protector on my 6s. What do you mean when sides don't adhere? On this one, the sides are 'raised' a bit but isn't that typical as it's tempered glass? The one con I can see is that at times particles get stuck right at the edges of the glass but not under it as it's laying flat on the screen.
So I feel like I'm the first one to have a bad experience with Daswise. SOOO nice, had such high hopes. But it went on looking like this. Boo. Same issue as others.View attachment 587704
Halo effects really can't be solved?Disapointed!

We have tried a lot too, but still not resolved.

Seems like the glass protectors for the larger 6 Plus or 6S Plus are the only ones with no halo effect.

i think all the glass screen s/p comes from the same plant. just packaged differently for each vendor.
all bs pretty much.

Customer service told me:
"If you are careful to align it properly the first time and do NOT lift the protector up at all during the installation process to realign it, that it seals perfect and you don't get those bubbles as you took a picture of along the sides. Also, you should apply some pressure to the edges after installing the glass to make sure it's adhered properly. "
I need one more try.

I've installed mine perfectly, and even with a replacement, it still showed the halo effect. This is not just one manufacturer mind you, I tried four different ones per suggestions from this thread but they all failed. Good luck!

4??? I am up to at least 15 different brands

I have said before that there is at least 3 different screen variations on the 6S. If you have #3 like most of us complaining in here have, there may never be a fix.

I've had 2 iPhone 6s, both halo. My mom's 6s, does not halo, and my girlfriend has had 2 6s, neither halo. Clearly I have the bad luck in the family. I've tried at least a dozen brands as well. Unfortunately, I think its at the point where I will just have to live with it, unless I can get Apple to replace my device, but that will probably halo too.

Also have Maxboost on mine, fits perfectly. Got it for 7.99 from Amazon comes with lifetime warranty. I like the warranty a lot, as I have dropped my phone once and the screen protector cracks, they send me a new one without any hassle. I know they have a VIPU reviewer program, a couple of my friends have received free screen protectors and I think the best way to figure out if it really fits is to get one yourself. You can simply google it, I don't know if I'm allowed to post link here.
