I know last yr when i purchased 2 iphone plus at apple store..1 was T-mobile.other was verizon..they were BOTH were the same model...so worked both ways..

I would think it still be the same with the 6s!

Last year I bought the iphone 6 T-Mobile in the pre order and arrived with a chip t-mobile and come unlocked for my chip the Brazilian operator.
I still have questions regarding the Pay in full because they are very telling that the model pay in full will come unlocked

So once preorders are live, I can just hit that.

I realize how stupid that sounds, but I'm worried that I'll have to pay off a Next installment in full before I can even buy the 6S+.

I assume this is just to verify that the phone would be going to an actual customer since the unlocked versions aren't available. When I bought my iphone 6 in the pre sale last year, the attendants Apple reported that the model of T-Mobile would not be unlocked and when he arrived at my house tested with a Brazilian carrier and it worked normal.
I live in Brazil and to this day I am using iphone 6 T-Mobile

Do a test on the Iphone 6 now. That's what I did. I have a shipping address issue with AT&T and Apple requires even a paid in full device on AT&T to be shipped to the account address. In my case this is a PO box and AT&T says my physical address doesn't exist.

There's definitely a difference, one has Band 30 LTE and the other has CDMA. It's safe to just get the Verizon model if you're pre-ordering.

That's for the 6, which has dedicated models for certain carriers, this will most likely be different.

I tried the "Get ready for pre-order" on the iPhone App itself. Typed in my information and it only shows me subsidized pricing on the App ( I do have an upgrade available) I've purchased my last few iPhones outright to keep my Vzw ULD) It doesn't show me "Full Price" option.

But when I tried it on the my Macbook web it shows "Contract Free" full price option. What gives?? Will this work on the APP when it comes to Saturday Morning?

Hello everyone.

This will hopefully be my first time pre-ordering directly through the Apple website and I just had a couple quick questions.

I'm on a VZW share plan, no upgrade available, but I was planning on purchasing at full price anyways. I am not the account owner, but I could get the required information needed, if any. I noticed the little section about "Get Ready for Pre-order", entered the required information and all it said was that there was no upgrade available yet, which I knew, and listed pricing options. Being that I was planning on purchasing at full price, is there any Verizon account information at all that I would need in order to complete the pre-order/purchase? So far, going through the model/color/storage/full price options leads all the way to the 'select' button, but obviously it's not live yet. For those who have done this before, is there anything else needed beyond this page besides credit card/shipping info? I would rather not have to bother my parents for the account information if possible, and also would like to avoid having to deal with VZW at all.

Second question is, is there a duration to these pre-orders, or does it keep going until the release date of 9/25?

It goes up until release date. After that, they're no longer pre-orders, they're just orders.

We can order verzon @ full retial, It's just the question can we pre order at Full Retail if one has an upgrade available. See my previous post a couple up.

Bummer. It looks like ATT Premier customers are out of luck again. Even though I want to purchase the ATT off contract pricing, they require me to put in my account number. Once I put my account number in, it gives me a message saying Im premier and that I have to contact ATT to order the phone.

I did a test run with the iPhone 6 and the tmobile variant luckily does not ask any account info and allows me to add it in my cart. Hopefully the 6S tmo variant will be identical in checking out as im not a tmo customer.
