6S & 6S Plus Available at full purchase Price At Launch

This would be a SIM free model that they wont offer on launch day. Do right now to Apple.com and select a Verizon Iphone 6 at full price. The next screen the prompts you to add a line or add to your account.
Edit... The site does allow the Tmobile 6 to be purchased without account information.
Here is what Apple Support said; you think this is incorrect, @ricktat?
David: If you buy an unlocked iPhone 6S no sir you should not have to put in that information [your wireless account information] however your carrier should be able to provide you with better information on that.
Me: And will unlocked iPhones be available for sale at launch?
David: Yes sir they will be.

Last year I bought the iphone 6 T-Mobile in the pre order and arrived with a chip t-mobile and come unlocked for my chip the Brazilian operator.
I still have questions regarding the Pay in full because they are very telling that the model pay in full will come unlocked
that unlocked that attendant said apple is to buy on the site or on launch day?
So once preorders are live, I can just hit that.
I realize how stupid that sounds, but I'm worried that I'll have to pay off a Next installment in full before I can even buy the 6S+.
I used the Apple Chat a little while ago, and asked about what account information if any, would be needed in order to pre-order an iPhone 6s using the 'Full Price' payment option. I was told that even though I wanted to pre-order and purchase it at full price, account information would still be needed. I asked the reason, and was told it was because they don't have unlocked versions available yet. So what Mattopotamus is saying seems to be on point.
The account information that I was told would be needed, was the account number, in my case Verizon, and the last 4 digits of the account holders social. I assume this is just to verify that the phone would be going to an actual customer since the unlocked versions aren't available. I also asked if it was okay to use a different credit card and shipping/billing address (mine) than is used for the wireless account payments, and was told that this would be okay as long as I had the needed account information.

When I bought my iphone 6 in the pre sale last year, the attendants Apple reported that the model of T-Mobile would not be unlocked and when he arrived at my house tested with a Brazilian carrier and it worked normal.

Do a test on the Iphone 6 now. That's what I did. I have a shipping address issue with AT&T and Apple requires even a paid in full device on AT&T to be shipped to the account address. In my case this is a PO box and AT&T says my physical address doesn't exist.
There's definitely a difference, one has Band 30 LTE and the other has CDMA. It's safe to just get the Verizon model if you're pre-ordering.
That's for the 6, which has dedicated models for certain carriers, this will most likely be different.
I tried the "Get ready for pre-order" on the iPhone App itself. Typed in my information and it only shows me subsidized pricing on the App ( I do have an upgrade available) I've purchased my last few iPhones outright to keep my Vzw ULD) It doesn't show me "Full Price" option.
But when I tried it on the my Macbook web it shows "Contract Free" full price option. What gives?? Will this work on the APP when it comes to Saturday Morning?

It goes up until release date. After that, they're no longer pre-orders, they're just orders.
Hi guys do you know how many maximum phones one person can buy? I wanna buy it for my family overseas because I may come home on that day. I'm wondering if I can use my address to order (not sure how many I can purchase) AND if preorder to pick up at Apple store as well.
We can order verzon @ full retial, It's just the question can we pre order at Full Retail if one has an upgrade available. See my previous post a couple up.
I guess I will use the website and not the app, just in case! In the past though, I think the app has been a faster way to do it.
To be on the safe side I will have my 6 Plus going through the app and also will have my Macbook on the other hand going through the website in case any funny business happens lol.
Bummer. It looks like ATT Premier customers are out of luck again. Even though I want to purchase the ATT off contract pricing, they require me to put in my account number. Once I put my account number in, it gives me a message saying Im premier and that I have to contact ATT to order the phone.
I did a test run with the iPhone 6 and the tmobile variant luckily does not ask any account info and allows me to add it in my cart. Hopefully the 6S tmo variant will be identical in checking out as im not a tmo customer.

After you click pay in full, when you go to check out, the first screen is inputting your phone number, billing zip, and last four of SSN.
