Not through pre-order for a 6S+. Maybe waiting outside an ATT store on launch day.. But I'll bet their supplies of 6S+ will be very low. Last year, most ATT stores only had 5-10 6+ in the whole store!!

The AT&T (corporate) store near me said they aren't getting any 6s Plus' in at all on launch day. They will all be 6s.

Wtf. None. That's shocking.

Yeah, pretty sad. They showed me the list of phones they're getting in on launch day. There were 6s of very size and color and zero 6s Plus. Guess I could have checked other AT&T stores in the area but didn't. i just, kind of, assumed that it would be the same at the others as well.

Keep up, dude, keep up. The other carriers are getting Model A1687 without the LTE 30 band.. No problem with that supply chain.. Geez people! Can't you keep a simple list of comparative details in your head?! Only the model 1634 (with LTE30 band-ATT only destination) is affected..
I'm communicating to airheads! ...

Jes kidding.. But seriously - keep up!
Who is this guy?

Subliminal nudge to give up UDP/ go to NEXT.
The Unlimited Data Plan (service purchase) and Next (hardware purchase) are not dependent upon each other.

You should be saying "Subliminal nudge to give up 2-Year subsidy/ go to NEXT. That is comparing apples to apples of the hardware purchase component.

Unlimited Data plan is in lieu of a Mobile Share Value plan.

You CAN get a phone on NEXT (hardware purchase) and still keep the UDP (service purchase).

I see people getting these mixed up all the time here.

Technically you are right. The UDP service fee already has a phone subsidy baked into it. So, if you opt for NEXT installment on top that - you would pay for your phone - twice.

Am I the only one feeling salty that launch is coming and I probably won't end up with a phone until weeks after that?
Nope, I am too. I'm still feeling weird about the whole thing though. It just makes zero sense to me that att preorders would be left out to dry whereas every other entity is in good standing. Heck, if you can still reserve at Best Buy, that just shows that supply isn't that constrained. It just doesn't pass the reasonableness test. I know I've been told by att that they have plenty of stock but I take that with a grain of salt.
He seems to think he is the god of these boards...knows everything.
Rather annoying fellow

I think that is what plagues me, too. If the 6s+ was backordered in general, I would be bummed I wasn't getting my phone on launch, but I'd feel more like "it is what it is" than I do now with feeling punished because I ordered through AT&T.

Same with me, what's the point of pre orders and why did I bother staying up till 3am est when I could have just ordered the next morning and got a delivery date a week after the one I got. It's just seems crazy to me to order a few mins after midnight and have to wait a month after the phone is released to get it.

No, I feel the same. I pre-ordered my 6s+ 128 rose 11:57pm pst and was completely surprised by the 10/16-10/23 date. I'm still holding out hope we'll get it Friday/Sat.

I am still hoping, but I'm definitely not feeling anxious and excited like I would if I had a launch day delivery date.

Just got off the phone with AT&T corporate office and the lady I spoke to said that the dates given are "pretty accurate". She said I should receive my iPhone 20-25 business days after launch. Keep in mind I pre ordered and iPhone 6S plus, gold, 64GB on 9/12 at around 11am(not late at all).

People need to stop calling the employees don't know. They give you the regular customer service answer because they know just as much as we do. They just ready what is on a screen. We clearly are probably not getting any pluses Friday or Saturday. They will ship them when ready.

I'm still surprised that someone checked the sku for me.

I ordered mine last year at the same time, got same ship date. But it shipped out on launch day got it the Monday after. So the ship dates wont hold any weight. you will get it on launch or the Monday after. it is only weekday delivery not weekends.....Unless they changed there shipping rules this year...
