Me too, 6S+ 128GB, installed as new, the lag always appears after TouchID unlock.

If it was the OS on its own though then surely everyone would be affected. It must be a combination of the OS and something else. Mine as been as fast and smooth from day 1. Did a restore from my back up and everything was up and running within the hour. Grease lightning with everything I do.
It's has to be more than just the OS
I'm still having the login lag from time to time. The lag only seems to occur when the device has been sitting idle. I originally did a clean install and like some others I had a 2 second delay when logging in with touch id. When I log in the screen is unresponsive to touch and the status bar is missing (not black like some, just missing). Everything else (icons, wallpaper) shows up immediately. After a couple of seconds the status bar shows up and the device is responsive.
Yesterday, I clean installed it again. The device still experiences login delay from time to time. Seems to only do it after it has been sitting idle but not all the time. Seems to be less frequent and sometimes the delay is only a fraction of a second. I'm going to give it a few days to see if it clears itself up.
Agreed. I'm done with android and Samsung after using them.Sorry that this is happening but nothing I have heard so far would cause me to cancel my order. Try dealing with the abomination called Android and Samsung for the past 10 months and nothing here seems so bad.
nope. Its instant. If my phone has been sitting idle i push the button and the lock screen comes up, touch the home button and the phone springs to life instantly. Less than a second from asleep to the home screen. Touch id is so fast...almost too fast.Do u experience any lag when unlocking your phone?
Mine is 128gb and no issues. I am in the uk. Is the issue related to faulty batches of phonesSeem to be a lot of 128gb phones affected here, like me.
Anyone with non 128gb having the same issue?

I think I'll do that now, worth a shot I guessI restored to a fresh copy of 9.0.1 and haven't had any issues since. Now THIS is the experience I was hoping for/expecting of the 6S.

How did you get a "fresh copy"? Sorry for the ignoranceI restored to a fresh copy of 9.0.1 and haven't had any issues since. Now THIS is the experience I was hoping for/expecting of the 6S.

Turn off phone off. Hold home button and plug in lightning cable (that's connected to your computer). iTunes will recognize your phone and it will now be in recovery mode. Click "restore"How did you get a "fresh copy"? Sorry for the ignorance
How do you know it's software and not hardware? Was just about to start a new thread and found this one.
There is definitely a bug in iOS 9 that is causing this freeze/stutter. Mine phone always freezes for a few seconds right after unlocking/touch id.
Hopefully Apple fixes soon.
Anyone on 9.1 seeing anything similar?
