I must be one of the lucky ones, my 6S Plus actually has a better color temp. than my 6 Plus. Side by side the 6 Plus has a warmer hue compared to my 6S Plus... whew

Why not put them under a UV light for a while and see if fixes the issue.
I left my iPhone 6 in direct sunlight for and hour and a half. No change. Is there any truth whatsoever that it could be an adhesive that is still "drying/curing"? Has anyone ever had the yellow tinge actually just go away on its own?

I have just a little blotchy yellowish tinge going on in the upper left side that stretches to the time on the status bar and its a little blotchy looking. Could this really be some sort of stuff that needs to dry up or is it a manufacture failure? These are very thin LCD's. I'd imagine the slightest bend or anything could screwup a whole panel. Maybe that's why there has been so many duds. Just make the phone thicker again and give me a uniform screen like my iPhone 4!

Replacement 6s Plus 128GB Gold arrived 23hrs after requesting a replacement. The new one has a much more uniform screen and the screen is whiter, no more urine coloured whites. Great service from Apple.

Very happy now, just need to post the old one back.

I went into the Apple Store and visited the Genius Bar yesterday. I compared my 6s Plus to my old iPhone 6 Plus display. The genius swapped it out for a new phone immediately with no question.

I love their customer service.

How bad was the bad one? Is the new one much better?

I preordered from my carrier, will Apple replace it at the store if I decide to exchange?

I think Apple in general is going toward warmer displays. Sometimes it stands out to me, but it's not piss yellow or anything. It actually looks worse in the photo than it does in real life. This is only about 40% brightness, by the way. I'm not going to bring it back, everything about the phone is in good shape - good battery, no highly visible shadow, etc.

id take that over my screen for sure. not bad, dude.
Yeah. I have to tilt the phone at like 45 degrees before I start to see a hint of shadow in the top corners. Not worth returning obviously, just another reason to hope LCD is going away soon. That's how it's supposed to be, not shadowing staring straight at the thing (another thing I'm unlucky with).

I plan on picking up a Plus in a few months. I'M SURE THAT WILL BE JUST SWELL AND PERFECT FIRST GO.

hahaha. yours and mine both (fingers crossed). though I tend to dip into other eco systems a lot and might consider a 950 to welcome into the family.

Compared to my iPhone 6 Plus my 6s plus screen is warmer but I think it's good. iPhone at 50% brightness and 100% brightness.image.jpegimage.jpeg

Was 3D Touch really worth all of these issues with new screens all over again and the smaller battery? Doesn't feel like an S year!

Still struggling with if I'm going to jump on the exchange train over this yet

I upgrade every year anyway, have done since the 3GS, never had the original or 3G as they were inferior to what I had at the time. The upgrade this year I was hoping for 2GB ram and I finally got it, that alone has made a massive difference for me. No more opening one decent size app and then going back to the web page I was on only to find it reloaded, that no longer happens now and I can have a few pages and apps all in RAM without having them reload.

The Air 2 with 2GB RAM fixed the reloading issues as well when it came out. Apple has been incredibly stingy on RAM upgrades lately, if the 6 had it I bet a lot of people would have stuck with it as that was the only thing letting that phone down.

The speed of this new 6s is also a big improvement and I notice that in every day use. Camera upgrade was a nice surprise as was the new touch id sensor which is incredibly fast. The 3D touch is not what I would have upgraded for but I really do find it very useful and can't wait to see what developers to with it.

If only Apple went with OLED this phone would have been perfect, they are going to have to ditch LCD sometime as it's not going to be around forever and I bet LCD issues is what causes a lot of returns. It's going to be 50/50 I think whether Apple uses it in the 7 and I really hope they do.

It's BS. My iPhone 4 developed a yellow spot and it never went away until I traded it in towards a Note 5.

Oh, time to rethink... And maybe wait if they had problems to produce quality screens. Im not going pay premium to get that kind of crap displays nowadays. Just too yellow for me and some are even uneven. Nicotine tint displays are worse displays ever...

I measured 6700k on my iPhone 6 and 7200k on my iPhone 6s. I'm going to return mine. The with point is way too high (yellowish).

7200K over 6700K would imply that your 6 is actually more yellow than the 6S. So what is it?

I'm on my 4th iPhone 6s now but only one of them was changed for a screen defect which had a dark part to the top of the screen. The one I have now is better than the one on my iPhone 6 as you can see from the photo and I have no problems with the screen, happy with the screen but not so much with iOS 9.0.2

Edit, forgot the photo, 6 on the left.
